Not going to do much today, maybe help around the kitchen, until I get in the way. May lower a shade umbrella, I use it to block the glare from the neighbors' crazy-bright deck light, which was off this morning. It's hopefully burned out. Maybe they won't notice.

I like the porch lights that are motion activated, from dull to super bright, good thing we don’t have raccoons, cats, rabbits and other critters setting it off and on all night long :annoyed:

Good morning. Music lesson today. The more I read about a knee replacement the less I want one. Supposed to be a rainy Wednesday today. I do not know if we are off to visit my cousin, but a hospital visit on a rainy day is not a bad idea.

Good morning all! In south Georgia for another day, a small front with storms came through around 3:30a. Headed to the St. Pete place later today, long awaited stress test tomorrow.
Thanks again @ImpulseRed008 and others for the well wishes for the new job. We worked out the details and got all that I asked for. I accepted the offer and will start January 13th. They wanted me to start beginning of Jan, but I have to wait until commissions from November for current job get into the bank at the end of month. Then my wife and one of the girls are going on a cruise, week of Jan. 6th and I will be taking care of our Tulip and probably take her to the farm and spend some quiet time up there before putting pedal to metal for the new job.
Have a safe, warm, dry Wednesday!

Of the medical procedures my wife and I have had done, the knee replacements my wife has had have been the only ones that have lived up to and even exceeded expectations. But of course as with anything, your milage may vary.

    Morning all:
Congrats on getting the new job Jim, especially the part about getting everything that you asked for , good luck.
Sounds like you may have read "the art of the deal".

As for the knee replacement Tom, I wouldn't want one either.
BUT, everyone I know who had one was glad they had it done, they did say the therapy after it was the worst part.

Yesterday I did the the 3AM yer an 8 thing and was wide awake after that long P. WTAH?? Today I filled the septic at 2:45 and crashed back out, dreaming of my kids all together (they live scattered about Alaska) but I had to go to some stupid meeting. But sleep I did.

Getting old is not for the weak.

:pccoffee: Good morning Porch Pals & Sue! Off to a Wellness exam I was forced to take, and that's about the end of my plans. Actually did freeze overnight,, so I guess it was good to put the 3 pots in the garage.

As a person with two knees replaced, I will say it is less than easy, and therapy is required. Plenty of it. But, you will walk again without the constant pain.

Thanks! I haven’t read that one but a couple of books on negotiating. I had a great conversation with the owner today. He welcomed me and said…phew, I was afraid we weren’t gonna get you. Hmmm… maybe I didn’t negotiate well enough!! All good though when both sides feel they win.

    Evening all:

Watching all the hullabaloo about the drones over NJ, a lot of what they are saying just doesn't make sense, then again, maybe they aren't telling us everything. I find it very hard to believe that they are saying they can't do anything about them and have no clue as to what they are up to! :notsure:

We all love a good mystery! Too slow for jets. Too small for normal radars. To low for most normal flying observation. Read that they "seem to go dark as soon as spotted!" I can hardly wait!
