Well-head access. Remove the metal cover and pull up the pump 20' at a time. Unscrew a section of pipe and repeat. The pump is 600' down! The puller looks like an oil drilling rig.

Ahhhh... That's quite a bit of 20' at a time. I guess it's a lot better than a twenty-one foot tall wellhouse... lol

Wow.. up later than usual this am. Actually, wish I could always sleep this "late". Feel like I need to catch up, but I'm not late for anything (except maybe TW check-in). Have a great day, or what's left of it.

I do miss using the grill. I will need to spatchcock my next turkey breast. I think I have one in the freezer. I usually debone them before smoking. The meal looks amazing. I also need to fry brocolli on the grill like this. The entire meal looks yummy.

I have been trying new dishes using the range top/oven. Last night we had beer brats. Brats cooked in beer with a sliced up onion, red pepper flakes, black pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Finished them off in a Lodge raised ridge skillet. Not bad but not as good as on the EX6.

Our patio is irregular flagstone and I am not stable enough on my feet, yet, to feel safe walking on it. Plus there is a step up to get into the house.

Good morning. Sleep is becoming more normal now. The last few nights I have only woken up twice. I am going to try and sleep in my bed later on in the week. Slowly I am getting back to normal.

Morning everyone :hattip:should have worn shorts on my morning walk, 57*. Starting to walk farther, no snow on the sidewalk and maybe I’m getting in better shape. Rain today, turning into a winter mix first of the week. Seize the Saturday
High winds, tie it down

What a beautiful morning here in San Diego County (the 4 days of rain and wind are over and now the sky is blue and grass is green. I just took a ride around our community (in our golf cart) and parked at a view point of a huge field that will one day be a park... saw something move in the distance... it was a coyote hunting for a meal (rabbits or gophers, I guess).

Another one of my Baja travel & history articles was just published:
    https://www.bajabound.com/bajaadventures/bajatravel/mission_san_jose_del_cabo

By-the-way, for those who want to make a degree symbol (instead of *), on many PCs it is ° by holding down the Alt key and enter 248 on the numbers keypad. This is great for temperature or GPS postings.

Yeah, but shift-8 is easier to remember, and people still figure it out.

    Afternoon all:

Cloudy, cool, and drizzling here, walked around the perimeter of the yard and cleaned up sticks, and found a deer skull with a small 6pt. rack that was laying just off the yard, that was it for today!

Interesting about the degree symbol David, wondered where they hid it and wonder how many other things are hidden on the contraption!
I did try it, and it does come up, seems like a roundabout way to access it though.

Oh, you really don't want to know...there are a ton of characters 'hidden'. A lifetime ago, when I worked with typesetting, we had to know. https://www.alt-codes.net/

Good morning. For some reason my PC does not like me using the ALT key to generate symbols, I lose the post and need to enter it again. However the keyboard on my phone provides the ° symbol

OK! Tax refunds are in house. Glad you-know-who didn't screw that up.

When using the phone or tablet, I tap on #0 and holding the finger there for couple seconds, the ° symbol key will appear above #0 for selecting.
