Morning everyone :hattip:road construction season is in full swing. What I like best is all the people complaining that know absolutely nothing about roads, construction, weather, finance, maintenance.

Good morning... cloudy and dark so far in SoCal.
I too had a rapid heart beat... robs the brain of normal blood flow... made me faint for the first time (while chatting with a customer). That was in 2015, I think...
After wearing a monitor for a week, it also showed several more events. An ablation (freezing nodes in the heart that over-reacted and made the heart beat too fast) was performed and no more problem! Great cardiology group at Kaiser in San Diego/ San Marcos.

Hmmm... New hearing aids seem to work better than old ones... I'll take it! First pair lasted a little over a year, wearing them 16hrs./day. IDK if that's average or not, but it's my experience. Not a lot of maintenance... clean, visual check, change battery, etc. I've learned to live with it, sigh.

My hearing aida are now 3 years old. Depending on streaming time I am now down from 17 to 14 hours pe charge. Takes a little over an hour to put a full charge back into the batteries. I was hoping to get a new set of hearing aids this spring but I doubt that will happen.

@lynyrd3 Good morning and I hope you are feeling well today.

Good morning. feeling a lot better these days. Hardly use a cane inside the house anymore. I was able to run 4 errands yesterday and still managed to get everything done around the house.

:hattip:Morning kids, up past my bedtime last night :D Some friends and I went and saw Bob Dylan last night, good show, he’s 80:eek: His band top notch as always. Lots of gray hair and shiny heads, a lot of canes and walkers . He’s an odd dude, walked on stage, played the piano and sang, introduced the band, played one more song and left  great weather today, outside stuff :bananadance:

I know that @95SLE Tom can vouch for me, but this wind that we are having here in Murrilin lately, makes it quite challenging to charcoal grill anymore, but alas, all my years behind tongs, flames and smoke, a lotta wind aint gone stop me !!!

    Morning all:

Geez, the mention of earthquakes, major fires, tornadoes, flooding, volcanoes, hurricanes, and a few other things that mother nature can throw at us, makes me glad that I live in the NE!
Speaking of volcanoes, still wondering what happened to Cheech, he hasn't been on here in quite a while, hope he's Ok!

:annoyed::facepalm:, my Cabela's waist high neoprene stocking foot waders are leaking and my "top of the line" Simms wading boots are self-destructing, of course the neoprene stocking foot waders that I use and really like are no longer available. :(
Been looking at replacements for both , I think it's time to either start patching, buy cheap replacement stuff that "MAY" last a year or two, or take out a mortgage and buy good stuff that should/might make it past 5 yrs.
Top of the line stocking foot waders are $800-$1000, and the boots are $400-$500, unbelievable, and on top of that the "top of the line" Simms boots that I already have are MADE IN CHINA! Must admit though, those boots are the best wading boots that I have ever owned, I think I can patch them up with shoe GOOP or E6000 and salvage them for quite a few more years, the areas that need fixin aren't critical to the integrity of the boots.
    End of rant! :annoyed:
