frogs and rugs ?????

Morning all:

the bear is back, and the pond drop pipe is completely removed and laying in the middle of the pond, was hoping it was a nice bear rug hanging on someone's wall, but no such luck!

 

Happy Saturday!
Yesterday was just cold and gloomy... I had nothing good to post. Today, however, is blue skies and sunshine... If only my leg and back wasn't acting a sols as I am getting! I think I will go soak in the hot tub with the jets on!

Well I'm not the master griller that some of you are, but to me nothing beats a grilled burger.

Evening all:

Grilled burgers and grilled hot dogs are always tasty!

 

Wow.. pop-up storms yesterday came out of nowhere. Had to run out, lower patio umbrellas quick, otherwise, they'll blow off into the creek. Forgot I had hearing aids on, got soaked, but (new) hearing aids survived. I immediately put them in my overnight dryer. It was on standby when I got up this am, and they both work! Got lucky. Well worth the few extra bucks for a dryer. Getting old isn't for sissies.

Congrats on retirement , Friday isn’t such a big deal

 

Frogging is a way to cut the chicken before cooking. Basically, you cut the chicken on the bones between the back and breasts and lay it flat. It sort of looks like a frog. I did not catch a typo on Rug it should have been RUB.

I love burgers for dinner, and your burgers look fantastic. Right up there with any "Master Griller" I know. TY for posting the pics. PS: I like potato salad, French fries, baked beans or a salad as a side. Burgers and dogs make a classic American grilling meal. Right up there with a steak.

Time to be a little sneaky. Asked the wife what type of chocolate we have for the kids today and she said none.

Good morning. Slept in till 6:30 today. Starting day 4 with no Oxycodone. Last week I only took 3 of the 5mg tabs. The stuff works but I was worried about dependance on the drug. Today dinner will only have 13 persons. Family members are spread out this year and some cannot make it. Cooking starts in a half hour.
