Well, 51 days, numerous informal interviews, and 5 formal interviews later, I have completed Google's interview process; now the waiting begins. Hopefully I'll know by late next week whether they are going to be making me an offer.

I don’t call this stretching, it sure looks like torturing to me.

 

Grass mowed up nicely yesterday. I hire it done. He's also going to remove an old satellite dish from the roof, when he gets time. He worked for a roofing contractor for years. It's a simple enough job, for the right person. Today, he said he didn't forget about it. I'm in no hurry.
We're off to town this morning, to pick up a grocery order, and a box or two of firewood... I stock up when the summer pricing kicks in. It hasn't yet this year. Might not. Who knows. Changing weather all around us, last few days... nothing major here. We're both hanging in there.

 

I have some seasoning, be great in a couple of years

Awake early but made it through the night more or less. Might need a pain pill, will see.

Showered and kotex bandage off yesterday. Sure felt good!!

The incision looks great actually. Funny how the pain changes, different nerves healing, etc I suppose. I won't post pictures, don't worry.

We are staying in the quarter abd being mindful of where we are. The food is terrific at all the restaurants so far. I took it easy yesterday. Fruit and coffee for breakfast, pasta jambalaya for lunch and a salad for dinner. I ate too much on Tuesday.

Good morning.coffee for breakfast then off to Cafe Du Mond for a pastries and another cup of coffee, the touristy thing to do. It is a request from the wife. Dinner tonight at Brennan's. I did not want to have to bring a jacket, slacks and tie for Commanders Palace, so I thought I would try a different high end restaurant. I do not know what else is planned for the day. I would not mind taking a guided tour tomorrow.
