60.....That was about a decade and a 1/2 ago, and to many surgeries and replacement parts ago? Probably more than a Kardashian.

However; I'm still kick'n and just loaded up the Taco with two of my kayaks and will be taking a buddy out kayaking tomorrow.

Well electricians don’t know shit about realty. Unless it’s a state law ( which I doubt). All homes for sale are subject to a home inspection, but can be waived. But more to the point subject to the building codes at the time of construction. Now if it has been doctored up and diy’ed by past owners then that is a different story. I have a sump running into our sewer. ( a no no) but it’s installed that way before the regulation was imposed. So it remains for now but In two weeks we have our basement waterproofed. That set up is going away and the hole they dug filled and covered.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
You're right, it ain't going to get any cheaper. It's very likely building codes changed and any change in the setup is going to trigger an upgrade to code...especially electrical.

In WI, they don't grandfather sewer...if you're out of code, you need to upgrade.

:amen:, it seems that pain takes days off, sometimes vacation on me during summer time. I detest the cold in winter time, it makes me feel depressed.

I try and walk everyday, it really helps in winter, plus the amount of clothing required to wear in winter is a good workout

Good morning all. Local forecast changed so now it appears any rain today will be sporadic. That's probably good as we've gotten so much lately it could use some time to really just soak in. It's now the second highest amount of rain in May since they started keeping records. :pccoffee:

Hope it is a positive visit.

I upgraded my panel about 30 years ago from 80amp to 120amp. The electric company upgraded the main feed for no charge. At that time the electric service company only charged me $600. One of my better decisions in life.

    Congratulations Dale.

Good morning. The results from yesterday's doctor visit was better than I hoped for. On May 16 when decending an older staircase at a bar i felt a pop in my surgical knee. Turns out it was my kneecap breaking. I am now in a knee brace for the next 6 weeks. It could have been worse, at least I do not need surgery at this time. Still it sucks. On to the cardiologist today.

OUCH Tom. Glad there is no surgery needed, but please be careful until it's healed. Us old timers are more fragile than we were 20 years ago :amen:

Well that kinda sucks... When my wife had her knees replaced they said the kneecap had worn down to a sliver. She had more like dimples than caps. But the surgeon we found was a guy that fixed other surgeon's mistakes and he knew what he was doing, so he saved what was there and built it up with a plate in back, and the wife has kneecaps again. Be careful of that brace on the leg. Lack of movement can lead to blood clots...

    Morning all:

    Welcome Radd,

Geez Tom, not good, but just be glad it wasn't any worse.

Saw that also, like I had posted, we got a lot of rain but luckily not any severe flooding locally.
