Dang. Living large, experiences few people will ever have.

Recovering from all that and still going at your speed shows that what’s inside counts.

    Respect.

Music can be magic. Sorry for the loss.

I had a 76 KZ900. Made a few mods. New shocks all around, bronze swing arm bushing, stronger drive chain, and Continental tires. I did all my maintenance work. Easy to adjust the valves, I still have the shim keeper tool and extra shims.

Good morning. My cousin pazssed last night. I will miss her greatly. Growin up there were 4 of us cousins that were close. At faamily gatherings we always got into trouble together. There are only two of us left now. Going to rest today, take two walks, and see if my cousins oldest daughter needs help with anything.

Welcome to the thread. TY for the pic.

So sorry to hear about your cousin. One of the not so pleasant aspects of being lucky enough to reach an older age is you have to experience the pain of losing ones you love who were not so lucky.

    May your cousin RIP

Good morning.. was warm night and now, a cloudy day. The hurricane off Cabo San Lucas (Alvin) brought rain and lightning strikes to south and east San Diego County, yesterday. Nothing up here in North County (yet), but it was predicted for today.
I have been very busy with the web page creation for my recent trip into northern Baja California. I hope you guys will have a look at it when I am done... and give me some feedback.
I should also post the trip report here on Tacoma World, as I know there are many Baja-bound Tacoma campers here.

A large pool in the San Fernando riverbed, with towering cardón cactus, about 3/4 mile west of the mission ruins and just beyond the cliff full of petroglyphs, including one that looks like a Viking ship!

Mission San Fernando de Velicatá, founded by Junípero Serra in 1769, during the expedition to occupy Alta California (San Diego and Monterey). Padre Serra was made a saint in recent years. Too bad his first California mission wasn't preserved.

When I first camped here, in 1974 and again the next year, this is what I photographed:

In 1926, George Hendry took this photo, from up the hillside:

Photographs preserve history when no other action is made to prevent the adobe from melting away.
