Good morning. Just came in from the morning walks. Thank you for the condolences for my cousin. Her brother passed three years ago. Her brother and I used to get into trouble all the time. LOL. My cousins youngest daughter was able to fly in from Vietnam on Thursday. There will be a memorial service, probably on Thursday for both parents. Both donated their bodies for research.

Today is my stress test at 12:30. Fun and games.

Now that looks great. Smoking up a ham tomorrow. Going to take part of it down to my cousins oldest daughter for a dinner protein.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/cholesterol specials. I make a similar dish for breakfast; diced bacon in a pan, cooked about halfway, then diced tomatoes tossed in and allowed to lose some water; top it all with a half dozen eggs and some parsley, cover, add cheese right at the end. It's delicious! But I don't want to guess at the nutritional impact... :anonymous:

The antique assessment discussion got me to thinking about our bicycle collection. We did a great deal of riding in the 1980's and 1990's, and we have a few top shelf bikes from that era. Bottechia, Vitus, Cinelli, festooned in Campagnolo finery, including some very rare Campy mountain bike hardware. Doesn't matter. They are virtually worthless today, unlike cars or motorcycles might be. Cycling tech has advanced so much that nobody wants the old stuff.

You probably want to modernize your cholesterol knowledge. Eggs and good dietary fats have very little impact on cholesterol levels. Eggs are super nutritious. Yeah, bacon shouldn't be eaten everyday, but my steak was lean and plenty of protein - won't be hungry until early evening. :D:p Well until I see a cookie or piece of cake :crapstorm::bananadance::jpow:

I built a race bike in the late. Seventies. Wasn’t easy on a paper boys salary.

    Afternoon all:

Well todays project went South fast! I have a drip, drip, drip, on a faucet, easy fix IF I could get the shut off valve to turn! :annoyed:
Sprayed the stem with some penetrating oil, if I can't get it to turn by hand I'll put a pipe wrench on it and :fingerscrossed: that nothing breaks, NOTHING'S EASY!

Frozen shut off valve never happened to me once. More like 5+ times. Once on a leaking water heater!!!

Back from the shuffle. Looks like laundry and weed whacking later. Chihuahua isn’t doing well today. Hoping it’s a temporary thing

Six years. Showing a lot of white in her cost these days. Her teeth look good so she isn’t too far from that age.

Chihuahuas are known to have rapid tooth decay due to soft food where a proper balanced diet with dry food in addition to other foods is paramount to lessen the decay. And a good brushing couldn’t hurt.

Owning a Buell motorcycle I was intrigued to learn that Erik Buell had actually designed what was apparently the first full suspension downhill mountain bike for Schwinn/Paramount. From what I have been able to find it looks like only a couple hundred were ever made and now they're going for some decent money. Often wished I could get my hands on one but not at the prices I've seen.
