She rebounded today. Appetite/drinking water and bathroom breaks all normal. Today she is back to jumping up on the furniture. Teaching her to use the stairs to climb. Will be a chore.

My favorite Motorcycle race , !!!! The Isle Of Mann

Here's the fastest lap ever recorded and was set last year by Peter Hickman . The record now stands at 136.358 mph on the 37.38 mile circuit on the Isle Of Mann

Ye they're !!! , some sections of the circuit they're going well over 200mph !!!

The rider in that video crashed his bike the other day . He layed his bike down on the Kerrow Moar corner at 140mph and is now out of this year's event

Carl: you might want to consider turning off the water to the house and replacing the shut off valve with a ball cock valve. Little more work but worth the effort/cost.

Good morning. Had a good visit with the cardiologist yesterday. I have issue's but they are manageable. Our walking program will help with maintaining heart health.
Yesterday was great. Sold a spare lawnmower for $1400 and the buyer bought one of my grills for $100. Split the lawnmower proceeds with my son and I did not have to clean up the grill and list it for $150. Only one more grill to sell but I am not in a hurry. I am waiting on a new grill to go on sale, hopefully for a Labor Day sale.

I was following the isle of Mann when I had my ‘86 k-100. Transformed into a cafe racer.
Think of Rooney Mara’s ride in “the girl with the dragon tattoo.” Kinda slowed my roll since.

It’s one thing to be in a car doing 200 mph , it’s a whole different ballgame on a bike. Kid I grew up with had a Motto Guzzi cafe racer and the leather jump suit with knee pads. No friggin way

since I got my first motorcycle, a Honda S90 decades ago I have always had to bury the Speedo needle once. That Honda 90 meant laying on the tank for many miles with the throttle wide open as I barely hit 60 mph. Decades later it was laying on the tanks on my BMW S in the Panamint Valley as the Speedo indicated 150 mph.

I thought I was the baddest dude in that valley as I hit 150 mph then out of nowhere an F16 or 18 roofed me from behind just barely over my head then he rose up slightly and dipped both wings to me. I watched him do a sharp u turn at the end of the valley, then circle around behind me and run at me again. I was truly humbled.

I have 4 cats and two dogs in my care at the moment. Radwife and I live with our oldest daughter, her husband and two teen grandkids. We both sold our houses in town and bought a bigger house in town years ago so I could help with the grandkids and they could help with my wife who battles Multiple Sclerosis. It has been a good arrangement.

The critters are in my care for a week as daughter and family are in Disneyland. As luck would have it I'm basically on hospice care for the oldest cat, Gus, who is 22 years old, deaf, blind and very feeble. If that's not enough, the youngest dog just had surgery, minor, but has to be medicated and kept in one of those silly cones.

retirement: "waking up with nothing to do and only getting half of it done by time you go to bed"

    Not a happy dog
