This morning, my Toyota mechanic (Jason/ @Speed Freek here on TW) examined my radiator overflow tubes and tank (2010 V6 Tacoma) as I have been seeing puddles of radiator fluid after taking drives.
Jason said this was common as Toyota didn't bother to use proper hose clamps, relying on the rubber's memory alone. After 15+ years and 140,000 miles, my tubes were pretty tired of gripping the way they used to! Zip ties were added and I was sent on my way. Thank you Speed Freek!

I have the same problem. I will give this solution a try.

Nice catch. It has been a long time since I fished for bass.

Good morning. Thursday sort of sucked but it was expected. We had scheduled to have the door from the laundry room to the garage replaced, by a handyman i trust. He started the process and found termite damage, from termites I had exterminated back in the late 80's. A one day $500 project turns into a 3 day $1200 project. The cost is decent but now I need to paint, oh well. The positive outcome is i can add a better storage solution to one wall in the garage and I have started to go through the garage cleaning out crap and reorganizing.

Tonight is a rack of ribs and chicken thighs for dinner.

    Storage locker consolidation...

After our move from a townhouse (with a basement) in New Hampshire to a 4th floor condo in Maryland last summer, my wife and I realized we are the repository of way to much sh..., uhhh, stuff, ours, our deceased parents and grandparents, and our kids and their significant others. Yeah, its way too much as we now have two 10'x25' storage climate controlled lockers, which ain't cheap here in Maryland. Today we were back over there combing through bins to decide who needs to come and collect their stuff, what other stuff we need to shed, either donate or sell, and what to hang on to. I came across a box which I hadn't opened in, well, a very long time; it had my enlistment paperwork for the Marines dated 08-Jun-1977! Yeah, reading that three-page document brought back some memories! :)

    Evening all:

Welcome @Okiedokie59, enjoy the thread, good group here.
Haven't heard "okiedokie" used in a long time!

Storms went through earlier and the electrician called and said it was pouring where he was at, of course it had stopped raining here and hasn't rained since he called, looking at the weather radar, the remaining rain slid by just a couple of miles NW of here where he lives,
so hopefully planning on next Sat. to get the job done!

One of my closest friends who is 80 years old won a seniors weight lifting contest today. He’s definitely in shape but has a bad back. He tells me exercise and lifting has almost cured his back pain. He’s an amazing individual and has led an exciting and fascinating life. From offer to play pro basketball to naval combat pilot to Area 51 to corporate adventures and intrigue his life’s stories will keep you on the edge of your seats. Anyway just want to say 80 years old and winning a weight lifting contest says there’s hope for us 60 plus. Just got to think positive, never say can’t and work hard to attain our goals. Gives me hope.
