Darn good chance he's steered clear of big pharma pills and eats well. Food is medicine and machines are supposed to run . Quality fuels make a difference be it a taco or a body.

Off to pick up the grocery order this am. I like the weekly trip. Wife drives, I enjoy... providing the morons keep their distance. Usually don't encounter many on Sunday mornings. I have to set out coon traps later... saw one on the deck yesterday... so spring has sprung.

    Morning all:

Just looked outside and the grass is dry, looks like I'll get an early start at mowing.

So Carl , what’s the unwritten rule of what time on Sunday you can run equipment in your neighborhood. I do the noon thing, or are you lucky enough not to have neighbors?

    Welcome to the thread.

Good morning. Went through a lot of garage stuff on tables, after a door replacement turned into a big project. Lots of trash fot the trash men and the wife's car is back in the garage.
Cooked up some chicken thighs and a reac of ribs for dinner. I just like how easy it is to cook the thighs and the outstanding taste.

    Good morning

After a week of being home watching the the pets including the sick ones the family returned home so I'm going to get some R&R and get out on the water early this AM as they watch my wife for me.

I loaded the kayak up last night in order to get an early start this morning.

not fishing, a workout and sight seeing, I'm excited , I picked up a new paddle, a Werner Camino. I had one years ago but sold it along with my kayaks when I blew out my shoulder rolling my big ocean kayak. Now that I'm back I picked up another Camano....Werner makes them kinda pretty now.

The new Camaro and pics I took years ago the last time I used a Camano. These creatures don't cook up well

    Morning all,
Strawberry waffles for breakfast today. Cloudy, June gloom morning but will burn off to blue skys in a bit, just like yesterday.
Next, a game of hand & foot with the wife and mother-in-law.
Did you see the Season 4 opening episode of Resident Alien, Friday night (USA network)? We record shows that are on after bedtime to watch later... and fast forward through commercials!

I do have neighbors, but we aren't on top of each other and mowing noise doesn't seem to be annoying to any of us, we just do it when we get around to it! I would say that over 90% of it is done from 11:00 on due to the grass being wet before that, today was an exception with the grass being dry in the morning, two of my neighbors were also mowing.

Looks like nice country you get to kayak in Radd, I notice that you have one of those antique blue things on the yack! :)

My old Eddyline Raven. It's fiberglass, that was what Eddyline started in before they pioneered carbonlite (thermoplastic) manufacturing.
Ya, that old fashioned thing on the Raven deck came in handy when the fog rolls in and ya gotta find the harbor.

Now, no compass. My Garmin67i Inreach shows me exactly were I am and shows everything around me. I also use it off-roading.

Part of today's track....Mr compass, as good looking as he was, could not do dat.....

My kids think I am nuts, just enjoying life. I shudder to realize my great-grandfather led wagon trains from Michigan to Oregon. Yes, great-grandfather. Born in 1841. Crazy to think of his lifetime.
