    When I lived in California as a kid I too was highly allergic to poison oak. It put me in the hospital a few times, eyes swelled shut, etc. When it bloomed and the pollen spread it was a nightmare for me. Never had poison ivy here in Michigan

    Growing up, my mom's good friend was highly allergic to poison ivy. One of their neighbors had a small burn pile in an open area behind their houses and without realizing threw some poison ivy on the burn pile. Mom's friend, Anna, happened to go outside while the fire was burning. Inhaled some and ended up in the hospital as a result.

    Well, yeah, those breads are good. It’s those nasty wonder white breads that will kill you.

    I get a small dose of poison ivy every year.
    Usually golf related. But never severe thank goodness
