Summer today (this week, actually) has arrived. 86° at 2 pm and very dry, so quite comfortable. A hurricane heading north, off western Mexico, may bring some humidity or thunderstorms in a few days (we can only hope), as we like a little drama in our boring but great San Diego weather (we pay so dearly for)!

    Evening all:

Perfect timing today, mowed the yard, put the mower in the garage, walked down to the house and took my T shirt off, and when I walked past the back window it was pouring rain.

I think I picked the wrong job! Just bumped into a guy who used to be married to a buddy's daughter, retired with 23 years in the Allentown Pa. fire dept. and is now working for the county sheriffs dept. for mad money, i think he's still in his 40's.

Grand daughters boyfriend is a LEO in Montgomery county and is making low 6 figures (wouldn't want to put up with some of the crap they do)...Never made close to that in my career. He's gonna need it to pay off his college loans

I actually don't see that many. But some nights they do wake me from the trees near by. I do love when I get one swooping by as the eagles and the red tails do.

Good morning. The last AC vendor comes in today. So far the existing vendor is $3000 lower for the replacement plus they offer 18 months of 0% financing.

    Chicken was tasty.

    Morning all:

GRRRRR, fall taxes came yesterday, need to pay them, the garbage bill, quarterly est. taxes, order coal, and order oil, definitely puts a hurting on the bank account! :spending: Last year the dentist got a big chunk of it, and I just got the electrical service upgraded, just when the bank account starts to look decent, most of it all of a sudden disappears, anyone else have that problem!

I think I need one of these!

Took wif to Drs app in Phoenix yesterday (and back to Tucson)- miserable heat this year. Freeway driving ugly as usual - with dash showing outdoor temp of 118º......... I'm glad we went in the wifes Explorer, it has real air conditioning. We would have died in the Taco.
