So my grass mowing guru is coming by today, to take an old satellite dish off the roof, and properly patch up the affected roof shingles. He's an experienced roofer, does odd jobs. Sounds simple right?

I took minutes for a city committee for close to 30 years. I do not know what that guys problem is but it sounds like you handled it properly. FWIW everyone else is so happy it is not them taking the minutes. The committee chair is the only one that matters. I hope the AHOLE is not the committee chair.

@Horseshoez I hope you had a decent first day.
@Tacoma Mike Nice to see you posting again. Never worked at a Bowling Alley but I like mechanical stuff.

Good morning. Another busy day planned.

Good morning all. Nice, cool ride in this morning at 64 degrees. Nice reprieve from the heat even though I know it won't last.

    I'll take the under.

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/robin hoods. We've had robins nesting under the forebay of our barn for years and years. Their nests are remarkably clean! The babies poop out little "fecal sacs", basically disposable birdy diapers, which the parents then cart away. I've never seen the adults poop anywhere near the nest either. They sure do give us an earful when we get near the nest though!

Quite vocal. For sure. The parent robins will dive bomb any vehicle with poo.

Speaking of dirty birds has anyone ever seen an osprey nest? We see a lot of them when we visit Cape Cod. They put platforms all over the place to encourage nesting. The ground under them is littered with poop and fish bones. Don't walk under one of them.
