Went to my 50th reunion a few years ago. First I’ve been to. I was also on the organizational committee to plan it. It was awesome, had a fabulous time. I was in a high school fraternity and me and the guys were like brothers, the best of friends. But over the years many of us drifted about and lost contact with each other. Well a bunch of us showed up and renewed our friendships. Plus we hooked up with others who weren’t at the reunion. Now we’re like a family again. We all get together a few times a year and have a great time. Wives all get along too. And interestingly I found one of my good friends lives only 20 miles south of me and owns a large vineyard. (Great wine) We now all get together there once a year for a big bbq/party and great wine. Also was interesting seeing some girls I use to date. That’s all I’ll say about that.
So yeh my first reunion after 50 years was awesome. Or if a person was kind of a wall flower probably wouldn’t be a real great time.
I think if you go expecting to have a lousy time that’s what you get. For me it was great.
