    Late evening all: :rant::annoyed::frusty:
Came home at 9:30 pm and all was OK. Went out to call the cat at 10:30, and while shining the light around saw that a very large branch broke off a pine tree, and was across the driveway.
They want heavy rain tomorrow and I would have had to drive in the yard to get around it. SO; got the truck out, shined the headlights on it, fired up the chainsaw, and cleared it from the driveway. Maby not the best thing to do at night!
Still have a mess to clean up, but it's out of the way. :goingcrazy:
Hope I didn't wake the neighbors up!

Strange! Came home this morning, and while looking at the branch that broke off I heard a tree cracking in the woods across the street, and then the sound of it coming down. At least it wasn't one of mine!
With the weather that we've been getting, it seems like alot of the big white pines are coming down.
Glad I cleared them from the back to build the garage, or I would be looking at a big mess.

The brunt of the storm missed us. Mostly rain, but not near what they were predicting.

Tom, Ken, looks like some of the heavier storms went through your area; all OK?

Doing fine Carl. Still mixed overcast with sprinkles from time to time. Last night was about 10 min of a downpour and about 1 hour of high winds.

Going to clean the pond filter today and start to power wash the house. Removed all the shutters yesterday for painting and need to clean them up today as well.

Going to see Superman today with the family.

Hi Carl, all is well here. Got our share of rain but not as much as some folks. No wind damage but my flower beds are getting overgrown with all the rain we've had...need to trim them up! maybe Sunday. Have a good night all.

    Evening all:
Glad to hear that no damage to either. Got the branch cleaned up today, but that wasn't storm related.

    HI SUE!
How's our lady in SC? Did the storms hit your area, looked like they were a little further north.

Superman was really decent. Lots of action with some pretty nice special effects. Lots of eye candy for the women that are dragged to the theaters by husbands and sons. ;)

Had a decent day yesterday, we finished cleaning the shutters and they are ready for painting today. Mailbox and house number plaque arrived yesterday and they are what I ordered. Might even have some time to start to power wash the house today as well. I need to buy an extension ladder so I have to investigate ladders today. Our current extension ladder is a POS and I need something decent.

I would ask what you hunt with that but I think I know. ;)

Hi Ken. Babies are good as soon as the the thunder stops.

I have a little giant and the only draw back is the steps are kind of narrow when extended, but other than that works great. now they come with wheels.

    HAPPY FATHERS day gentlemen!!!

My neighbor is going to let me borrow his ladder for a few days. Meanwhile I will keep my eyes open for a Lowes or Home Depot coupon.
