Now I get it.

    THE 'Y' CHROMOSOME

People born before 1946 are called -
    The Greatest Generation
    .

People born between 1946 and 1964 are called -
    The Baby Boomers
    .

People born between 1965 and 1979 are called -
    Generation X.

And people born between 1980 and 2010 are called - Generation Y.

Why do we call the last group -Generation Y ?

    Y should I get a job?

Y should I leave home and find my own place?

Y should I get a car when I can borrow yours?

Y should I clean my room?

Y should I wash and iron my own clothes?

Y should I buy any food?

But perhaps a cartoonist explained it most eloquently below...

[IMG]Just thought you might want to know "Y"

Thanks for posting this Jim, A trip to the museum has been added to the bucket list:thumbsup:. Visited the VietNam Memorial and I was brought to tears looking at the names of those that lost their lives and are MIA. A fellow that I worked with has a brother who is on the wall so that made it even more heart breaking:pray:

    Morning all:
Hey Ken! Me thinks that's just the tip of the iceberg on gen.Y.
    One they should add:
Y should I get married, when I can have 5 or more babies mommas?

I have mentioned my childhood buddy that was killed in Vietnam. His name is on "THE WALL", and his dog tags should be included in that memorial.
I find that memorial to be more moving than the wall. Thanks for sharing.
Here is the bottom line though. RIP Neal; you were a good buddy!
