Good morning everyone. Getting ready to go to the gym then of to the doctor's for some blood work. This is my 3 month follow up to my physical to see if I can get off of my meds. Hope everything goes well for me.

My one sister will be stopping by later on this afternoon and we will be going over to the eastern shore today. My other sister is being inducted as the president of the local Kiwanis Club. Should be a fun day today.

    Morning all:
    Keep the pics. coming-NEAT STUFF!
Know how Jim feels. Just changed the fluids in the rears, trans., and transfer case. Aint fun no more! Even doing it myself, it cost $83.70 for the gear oil, and that's with a 15% discount that I weaseled out of them!:D

I changed my fluids in the last month. I have a 5-speed. I used AMSOIL GL5 75w90 in the diffs, and Redline 75w90 GL4 in the trans/transfer case.

I know they call for 75w85 now, but decided on the AMSOIL based on recommendations on bobistheoilguy.

    Evening all:
Remember the one about the five lawyers being killed in a car wreck, and someone said; Well; that's a good start! I could think of a few other things to substitute for lawyers at the moment!
Good jokes, but got to love the write up on the tools!!:)

While I'm here- US Navy; got off active duty as a BM3, pending BM2. Went to reserves, and after 9 yrs. total was BM1. Was pending BMC and got out due to work related issues- like didn't want to come off of night shift and go to a meeting-or 1 1/2 yrs. without a weekend off- or scheduling the 2 wks. active duty during the two weeks of buck season! Actually wish I would have stayed for 20, but it just became too much of a hassle.
Maby we could form a senior unit with Mark as the OIC! He may have to fudge a little on the PT though. :D

Alright, so I bursting here and need to tell someone. We are still working out the final details and a formal announcement won't happen until spring...so I need you guys to hold this to yourselves.

I've been courting a corporate donor for the college. I made a $2.5mil proposal to them a few months back and we've met several times since on various topics. This morning, I was told that the corporate HQs gave the local guys the green light on our proposal.

We are a small school and this amount almost equals our total endowment. It isn't all cash but it does represent the single largest gift to our college since it's inception back in 1894. Not bad for just going into my second year as president. And, tomorrow I have a meeting with another corporation that may bring another $1mil to the table.

There is life after retiring from the Army - and even though it isn't the same as working with soldiers, NCOs and officers, it is still pretty much fun...especially on days like this!

 why do some guys have to take threads into the gutter? Were they raised that way or did they go stupied when they left home?
