[IMG] When I was about 10 years old, my cousin was discharged from the army. The first thing he did was buy a brand new '59 Ford convertible, black, white top, red interior, 292 CID. Beautiful vehicle.

Shot a bow for a few years. Gave it up because I just did not have the time for it. Unless you have your own property, lease or have a good friend with property, it's hard to fine a place to put up a stand.

"Supposedly" there is an IPhone app that allow you to view engine information that's in your cars computer/computers and show it on your IPhone screen. You have to by a wifi 327 adapter that plugs into your OBD connection, which then sends a wifi signal to your phone's app.

Here is a link. If you just Google "IPhone engine diagnostics app" you will come up with a couple of links. On your IPhone you should find a couple of apps. I have purchased the $5.99 app and the ELAN 327 WiFi, but have not had time to play with it. There are other more expensive (but still cheap) apps.. I may try again for the more expensive app. I also don't know if these apps work on all IPhone updates. I have an IPhone4. Let us know how you make out.

Nice links Paul. I have a couple of buds that need to start to use the app.

Sunny and cold here today. As I am sure the rest of you are, when something needs repaired around the house, I tackle it, but gawd I hate Plumbing work/repairs. Been putting of replacing the in-ards of my downstairs toilet. Today was the day. I am sure I will burn a few days in hell for "plumbing profanity on a Sunday", but I got it done. Even had time to take down the outside Christmas lights.

    afternoon gents...

No rain here today, had that yesterday. Took my rain gauges in due to the cold, so don't know how much we got, but there was lots of localized flooding. Dug up and potted about a dozen plants - ran out of pots, need to get more, so I can move the plants later in the spring to their new homes.

Zapper, I'm with you on the plumbing :puke: do not like doing it.

Morning all! I am sitting here at the computer but about to relent and head back to bed - day 3 of the flu. Feeling mildly human but still can't eat without consequences. Woo Hooooo! Great weekend. Took today off rather than spread it around the office.

Speaking of cookies (which even thinking about right now makes me a bit queasy), I buy Red Chile Ginger Snaps from New Mexico Pinon Coffee Company - great taste with just a hint of burn in your throat at the end. Nice.

    Well, off to sleep....hopefully.

    Afternoon all:
Hope you're feeling better Mark. Should have eaten sauerkraut! :D

Just got off the phone with the IRS. The last letter was computer generated, and they confirmed that they received both requests they asked me to send to them. :crapstorm: She also said that the highest penalties may be imposed by not filing for 2011. That could be a lot if they go by the amt. I sent in, due to the IRA rollover. They have had that money, which amounts to around 21k, and I can only hope the penalties aren't on that amt. I just left a message for the tax preparer, and if she didn't E-file them, which I thought she did, I'll know what it was my mistake caused by a miscommunication. :annoyed: :goingcrazy:
Update: Looks like I made the mistake, don't know how it happened but it looks like I didn't sent the 2011 return in. I did send the amt. owed, on it though. I normally don't make this kind of mistake and can't believe that I messed up on this.
Maby that's what happens when there's too many irons in the fire that need attention!

Damn Carl, sounds like you got a real :crapstorm:coming. I feel your pain because it took me a couple of years, many letters and an accountant to get my problem straightened out. Good luck.
