Sounds like when I was in Alaska and the river was up... (can't think of the name at the moment - having a senior moment ) and the salmon fishing sucked :pout: all that way to fish and didn't catch anything

that really stinks. never went that far to run into that situation. guys from the area already drove up to NY. to fish for salmon, ate breakfast, and came back, because rivers were unfishable. 9+hrs. on the road for nothing. they have river guages on the delaware,so I know pretty well what's going on.

We were stationed at Eielson AFB and drove down to some place on the southern coast.... it was several hours each way. No way I'd go there from here. I wanted some fresh salmon

    Happy Weekend, everyone!!

We had a beautiful day yestersay....back to rain by this afternoon and temps are dropping. It was 72 yesterday, today's high in the low 50s.

Headed to our college's football game this afternoon. Tomorrow is our church Harvest Festival where I help make the gallons of coffee followed by taking my wife and mom to see Celtic Thunder in concert.

    Have a great weekend!!

    Ken:
What can I say, I like to keep busy. ;)

I have to say these cookie bowls look interesting and tempting. I may conscript the son to help me bake up a batch today. This is so not good for losing weight.

I get home from the gym and the son and wife are still sleeping. LOL

Time to get the halloween decorations out of the attic. They are burried in the back if you know what I mean.

Morning all.....hope everyone had a great weekend.....we did!

Took two cars to the show. Won 1st place with the 911 and SOLD the 356!!!!

But. When I asked my wife where the camera was, she replies.....I thought you brought it.
I know.....pics, or it didn't really happen. You'll have to take my "word". I guess I could take a pic of the trophy. We have a collection of seven dollar trophies that we spent hundreds on the car to win!

Oh well. We are already focused on next week....Going to Monterey Ca for the biggest Porsche event ever. Rennsport Reunion. It will be complete overload for Porsche geeks like me and my wife. Over 65,000 tickets have been sold so far. Porsche is flying in 3 747 cargo jets full of all the historic race cars. Porsches that have not been seen since they raced in the 50s and 60s. They are already saying it will be the largest gathering of Porsches in one place ever.

We will have TWO cameras at this one!!!
