No one up here will make a firm weather call, yet. It looks like we're in for at least some snow on Thursday, though. Sub-zero temps for us, too. Ugh.

I ordered the Firestones. My shop's tire distributor did not have the GY in stock. They should be installed tomorrow.

Today is just toast. I go to the gym and run 7 errands. Come home around 12:30 and get painting materials together for Friday, fix lunch then pick up a voice mail on the home phone. It was my son saying he forgot his gym uniform. Back to school and now waiting in the parking lot for an hour and a half. :(

Looks like you had one of those days as well. Did you end up buying a battery?

So the daughter got a free tank of gas from the dad. Just like 10 years ago I would assume. :D

Sue! Snow is one thing, ICE is bad. You may have some experience driving on it, but I'm sure most of the people in your area don't have a clue and don't even have proper tires for storms like this.
Be careful if you have to drive anywhere!

Carl, not planning on going anywhere. i can drive on ice.. they mentioned the ice storm we had in '04. I drove to work, very slowly, and passed probably a dozen vehicles in the ditch... slow and steady  Got to work and home no problems.

We are supposed to get between 4 and 8 inches of snow or sleet tonight. We shall see.

Slow and steady is the ticket for driving on ice. A lot of new 4WD owners think they are invincible on ice but soon learn differently.

    Morning, all!

-13 here this morning. Heading out to the spa in a few minutes. That should be an experience!!

We're going to get somewhere between 6 and 12 inches of snow starting early morning tomorrow. It's been an interesting winter - and I suspect we'll see more snow before it's over.

Morning all...11* here and clear for now...Last night the skid steers were out putting all the piles of snow that were left in the street from the last snow on to our front lawns to make room for the next round of snow:eek:...If this keeps up I'm trading in the Tacoma for a sled and dog team:facepalm:. Enjoy the spa Mark.

This kind of stuff really irritates me and seriously concerns me. Why? Because my son is a DPS State Trooper in Texas .... never know what kind of idiot he's going to run into.
