    Hey exalted ones,

Is it just me or is anyone else tired of Lois Lerner?? Why don't they haul her down to Gitmo, waterboard her, get the answers, and move on !!!!

Ran into a fellow Vietnam Vet at my favorite BBQ place an hour ago. He was in Vietnam in 69 while I was off the coast on the USS Enterprise. Great to meet folks like him .... true blue Americans.

OK, off to GOODWILL with some stuff. The wife laid down the law: The Nehru jackets, bellbottom leisure suits, and mohair sweaters HAVE to go. DAMN!! :(:(:(

    Good afternoon Fred,

Hope you enjoyed the all-expense-paid cruise to the Vietnam arena as much as I did.:eek:

Looks like both of our carriers have been retired and yours long since sold for scrap. CVAN-65 will be next ..... as soon as they remove the reactors and find an outfit capable of handling something that size (displaced 90,000 tons).

    Tex

Afternoon all:wave:...Never made it to a Westpac, but did pick up the ole' CVA 59 (Forrestal) when she was in dry dock after the fire. After 4 months of dry dock duty we hit the seas for a 6 month Med cruise. Then home and got discharged...Well worth the experience. Unfortunately she Too has hit the scrap yard:mad:

22 pound cat  Held family and dog hostage:eek:...:laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:

I have to confess, I "chuckled" a bit when all of those winter storms swung way south of us (Ya'll know who I'm talk'in about). Not funny today, we are getting blasted with the worst snow of the winter! Rain at 7:45 AM, snow at 8:15 AM. Wind, 47 MPH, stinging sleet, 8 inches of snow by 5:00 PM. Why would the worst storm of winter arrive a week before 1st day of Spring?

    I have a plan Ken.

Get the computer built and up and running.
    Install Windows 7
    Install a second HD.
    Install Office 2007
    Migrate data
    Upgrade to office 2010
    Play with settings.

What plane are you looking for Carl?

EDIT: Never mind ... you're talking about the Malaysian Flight. My guess is somewhere very deep and depending on altitude when it mishaped (for lack of a better word) the search area is huge. Spent 5 years doing Search and Rescue in the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center; mainly planning and directing searches and search areas. It's not as easy as we'd all like to believe it is. :notsure:
