That's a possibility ... or something similar to the 800 incident, only in a less crowded piece of airspace with no witnesses. :(

Agreed ... Unless an obvious bad guy/gal ... Vote new blood every time ... Until somebody worthwhile shows up. Don't care for any of them currently, on either side of the aisle.

    Agreed.

And our long time Representative in the House has been grooming his son to take over when he retires.

On another not I started to put the computer together and I now have a problem with the clothes dryer that I need to fix. No heat to the dryer, first corrective action is to clean out the dryer vent and go from there. ;)

Mandatory picture of a bunch of computer component boxes.

    Two wise men speaking ^^^

It's funny if I bitch about Obama people think I'm a Bush fan, when I bitch about Bush people think I'm an Obama fan. Some of our slow members here on TW think I'm an O fan because I post shit that I see questionable in leaders of other countries.

In my mind people need to move past the party mentality and realize the two major parties have been at the helm during the longest & biggest fall of the US.

That said, I firmly believe it's too late to reverse the trend as we've handed the keys to the thieves. Maybe democracy really doesn't work (5 years ago I would have never questioned it).

 Our current two party system seems to be failing us. Instead of a balance between the two ideologies, we get stalemates with everyone getting screwed in the process. Let me stop before I get off on a rant. :(

I think it's more than that Rob. I believe the mentality of the general population has moved to one more dependent and with a desire to entrust the government with more control over our individual lives. As such, I think both major parties have adjusted (in one way or another) to pander more to the "give me" something mindset. In exchange for this, people seem willing to sacrifice their freedoms. Hell I bet JFK would be too conservative to run even as a republican today.

I see mentioned above about a senator "grooming" his son for the same position. This is like being king or queen...as a nation I thought we decided dynasties were something we wouldn't want. Look at Bush #1 & #2, Bill & Hillary (if she wants it no one on the horizon will stop her). You can't tell me an average working man or women wouldn't be better versed at serving than someone from either of these two families.

I really can't go into my true thoughts / feelings here because of site rules. It was even difficult articulating the few minor points above in such a way to balance no ban vs. being understandable.

Agreed ... And I'll stop there for the same reason. Maybe a PM exchange later, but too tired now. Time for a nap. I feel your frustration brother.

More cold coming in this weekend.
I have now officially become sick of winter.
30 inches of ice means I don't think ill be getting my boat out anytime soon.
When this weather changes it's going to be all at once..
