    Good Morning Cap.
Wx looks good, 25F this morning and heading to mid 30s. Forecast about the same for this next week or so.

I can understand selling the plane if your not gonna get regular use, lot of money to hang onto it. I guess you can always go with your son and grandson when you want/need? So cool for the three of you to share that.

Guess it is time to take the driveshaft thing into your (and your friend dealer mechanic) own hands. Doesn't make it right, but the frustration and madness has to end. I'd hold onto all receipts and document what you do to fix it. Then afterwards present a case/complaint to Toyota National. I read about a guy who had to replace a front diff at close to 100k; he paid up front, but after Toyota sent him a check for half the cost. Let me see if I can dig up his story on here.

I found it Cap. User name is 05Moose. He posted in my thread when I got my front diff replaced just shy of warranty expiration. Might send him a PM for the contact and process info. \/\/\/\/

Good morning Charlie and Mike. Wrapping up the new PC today. Everything is working. Just need to dress up the cables, put it into its final resting place and attach the printers. Might help if I install the Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. ;)

Then it is on to building a file server on the cheep.

    Morning.

Black Bear in the back yard. Kind of cool ... but wrecking your fence, not so cool. But as you said, part of the gig living there. ;)

:anonymous: Hard to believe how mild our Winter has been this year compared to you guys in the NE. Spring has to come on strong soon for you guys.

    Morning all:
We're all tired of the winter we had here in the NE! The one I don't hear complaining too much is Paul, and it looks like Erie Pa. got its share of lake effect snow, but that's just normal for them!

    Charlie, et al,

Sorry guys, I tried to do this via Private Message to Charlie but it just wasn't working for me .... need to do some training. Below is a picture I promised to send Charlie. It shows some of the damage done to the flight deck of the carrier USS Enterprise on the morning of 14-Jan-69 off the coast of Hawaii. That's what a 1000-pound bomb does to a 2 to 2.5 inch thick steel flight deck. Charlie served on the Big-E before I came aboard .... it was exciting!

Hi Cap...Last minute run for the dealer...dropped the vans then headed back home. We went to "Coffee Roasters" in Oakland on Edison Avenue. Had a fresh cup of their Irish Cream coffee for the road:thumbsup:...If I'm making a run up your way by myself I'll drop you a PM and we can meet up.:D
