It's been way too long since you folks have posted anything about firearms. For those of us not so automotively inclined, we need something to keep us motivated!!

This is a standard Romanian WASR 10 AK-47 in 7.62X39. I swapped out the original butt stock with a thumbhole version, refinished the front hand guards to match and then added a 6X24 illuminated Bulgarian-made POSP scope.

NOTE: Does anyone recognize my workbench phone in the back left?

    Nice bird!

 Good luck on the gift!

    Told you!!!!!!

First day of trout yesterday. The young guy and myself got our limits, his girlfriend could manage three. We all fished our buts off to get a total of 13 trout. Maby should start following the fish truck!

    Your still in work mode.
After all these years, your programmed to go go go.
    The family isn't helping.
To them, retirement means more "free time" available to work for them.
    Free labor..
A new word has to flow freely from your lips.

Thirteen more days and I am done, April 30. Have had a "sit behind a desk and handle problems all day" career person. I am looking forward to retirement. Yes, I have my share of catch up jobs to do around the house, but I can do it on my own time. I want to be able to sit in the sun, walk in the woods, take my time. Sometime in the future, I may want to pick up a part time job, who knows. For now, I am looking forward ending the work-a day bullshit and all that goes with it.

You are retiring on my birthday! I turn 59 this year so only one more year before I am "official" here. :)

Congratulations on the retirement!! It sounds like you are ready - and set to enjoy it. Not sure how long until I pull the plug - 3 years at least.

    WHAT THE HELL IS THAT??????????
As most of you are seeing, your more busy now than before.
    It's a myth.
Just think , your working harder now for free.
I just work like that now for free.
I'm getting a jump on all of you.
So if I ever so call RETIRE. my first day will be just like my last day.
I think I got this all figured out now...
