    Home made crab cakes! :drool::drool::hungry:

That's the problem, I am not a night owl! Usually feel like crap, but those suckers just seem to bite much better at night, plus the local lake we fish can become a zoo during the daytime. When we fish the river, the "bite" usually starts at dark, and we are back home by around 1:00 am. That I can take!!!

Morning all. Happy belated MOTHERS DAY Sue and all the other Moms out there. Spent the day on the train from Prague to Budapest. Spending time a lot of time taking in the sites. Enjoying a beer or 2 to quench the thirst. Wife's been taking plenty of pictures and I will post some when we get home. I took a few with the cell phone but not great.
Welcome to the new guys, enjoy the thread.
Beef goulash for dinner last night, Prague from across the river, and a refreshing 1 liter of beer.

    Hi Ken!

Sounds and looks like the trip is going well. So happy for you both. Looking forward to seeing those pics when you get back. Looks like the weather is cooperating too; the pic of Prague is beautiful. And the plate of goulash and beer are so very reminiscent of that area of the world for me. Wishing you both continued safe travels and beautiful vistas.

    Good morning Guys!

Sounds like the trip is going really well Ken.

Wife wants a fire pit in the back yard. Another labor intensive project. Lucky for me my son is helping. I have been pricing the materials for the last week or so. When I was at the stone yard picking up some extra stone for around the pond I priced one there. $500 for the stone alone. Lowes wants over $300 when you price in the base material. Home Depot pushes $500 as well. The Lowes and HD prices are for kits. I priced just the materials I needed from Lowes and Amazon and the price is just shy of $300. I need to go to HD this week and see what they offer if purchase the parts separately.

I tend to overthink almost everything. ;)

    Afternoon all:
Sounds like Ken is enjoying his vacation, and Tom is going to be busy on a new project!

Only 1 walleye last night. :(

Watching the news. A young exchange student was shot and killed while "GARAGE HOPPING"! (A "GAME" of breaking into garages and stealing things!)
    Key word-"GAME"!!!!!!!
I guess the winner is the one that breaks into the most garages, and steals something from them! :notsure:

Where's the Doc? Sounds like this "game" may need some evaluation! ;)

I got to go fishing yesterday and the two of us caught over 50 Brim and Bass. Many of the Brim were over a pound each. Great tugs from them! Have a great day!

    Puss case of the week.
    92 MR2 clutch.
With bad shoulders it ain't fun.
Hanging over the rear and stretching into the bay isn't any better.
So Advil is the call for a few days.
    But it's done.

    Still no fishing for me.
    Weather sucks.
    Am riding the Sportster some.

    Evening all:
:woot:Looks like others are getting out to fish.
Bill; what are Brim, are they what we call a Bluegill? If they are, 1lb. plus are darn nice ones, and good eating!

Just got a interim recall notice on the Tacoma. Something about a spiral cable that has something to do with the airbags.

Looks like Mike posted while I was posting. Evening Mike!!! Yea, we are supposed to get heavy rain here tonight. :( Figured I better get an item off the to do list.

    Here was todays project! :D

I miss Brim fishing. One of my favorite things as a kid growing up in Virginia.

:sorry: Mike. I take Vitamin M (motrin) regularly. VA sends them to me in big 270 count bottles. Go thru about a bottle every six months. Little arthritis in my neck from the moose accident 8 yrs ago.

At least you're getting in some riding. Send me some rain. I think it's gonna be a bad Summer for forest fires up here. 15 mins from our house; other side of river:

    http://www.frontiersman.com/news/fi...7ca-dc64-11e3-9b48-0019bb2963f4.html?mode=jqm

IIRC yes, same type of fish ... Pan fish. When I was stationed in Illinois the locals called them bluegills and red ears. Different variations to my knowledge.

    Hiya Tom.
