Busy day at home today. I have a repair trifecta happening. Safelite windshield repair in today to fix 2 dings in the Tacoma windshield. Belair Engineering in to replace a broken thermostat on the HVAC system. La Z Boy in to start the repair process on a sleeper chair we purchased earlier this year. Should be an interesting morning.

 Morning Mike. :woot: for new toys! :D

Here's the local cliche for the "vacationers": If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot them? That might be just an Alaska thing, but you made me think of it. ;)

Short week for me, work Tue/Wed/Thu nights, then a 4 day weekend.

    Enjoy your break.

    Hehehehehe
Actually it's like everything else, it's only a few....
Had to instruct a local on boat ramp stuff last week. He wasn't happy but I told him he would get a much worse reception in a few weeks.
    Off to work . Later people's .......

    NO TRADE.

At least our tourists help our local economy. In fact many up here make their living from tourism.

And WTF ... ICE can only be contacted from 8 to 5 Mon-Fri???? You have got to be kidding me? Are these the same idiots that crashed the economy in 2008 ... I mean damn, those are banker hours? :frusty:

    // Break - Break //

The Officer gave me the ICE #..I called & got the answering machine. Called back on Mon. AM. told them what I had seen Sun. PM.. Was told they would check the house when they had time. I asked for a time for the check & was told it would be checked in the next 30 days..

    Morning all:
Was thinking about what Mike said about raising and lowering the lake where he fishes. I think the water level is also dropping at the lake we are fishing. Last night we caught 7 more walleyes and 2 legal stripers. :D
When we got there, there were two guys leaving. They told us we might as well turn around and go home; nothing was hitting, they didn't even have a bump. :notsure:

   What, ONLY 10 got out of the van? Over here in Texas there would been at least 20!!! My son worked an accident scene where 23 of them were in a pickup that ran off the road and hit a tree, killing most. Ugly situation.

They own this state .... WE are the minority.

I thought the Cubans owned Florida.

Been real busy. As always spring brings a lot of mowing, trimming, etc.. Aside from buying and traveling soon to install a window A/C unit for my 88 year old mom in SE Texas (100+ year old house), I've, after several months of soul-searching, decided to sell my glider and leave the sport of soaring behind. I've simply lost interest .... do more work at the club than flying. I'm currently in the process of replacing the rudder cables (due to some fraying I recently noticed) and a gas spring that lifts the instrument panel. Right now waiting for a response from a guy in Germany for the part.

Hope everyone is doing well .... I'm still lurking.

    Tex

Sorry to near of that decision. You should not be doing the lion's share around there. I still miss flying. Especially the float plane. Nothing like it.
It's your decision for sure but I am very sad for you.. :(
