    Morning all:
You don't hear too much about Numidia Raceway. Two others, that have been closed for awhile, are Pocono Drag Lodge and Vargo. The big one, that's not too far from us, is Maple Grove outside of Reading. That one is still going strong.
I have also heard that the Long Pond racetrack front stretch was designed for drag racing events, but none have been held there.

    Mike:
A race trans. that you can't check fluid level?

Morning Carl, How's the fishing going? Bike riding along the Delaware down near Lambertville and it is still quite muddy from all the storms:eek:.
Knew about Maple Glen and in Jersey Atco, but not any others. Guess when you aren't involved in the sport you don't know about these things:D...stay cool today, it's supposed to be hot and humid:(

You're just figurin' that out. :der: :p

:woot: for tickets and great day with your son.

$7K  ... I've heard those machines aren't cheap, but ouch.

Went to watch a local baseball game last night; our team won. :)

Feeling any better Sue? I hope so.

    Mornin' everybody.

Gonna pull the stock plastic skid plate off the Ranger this morning and take it to be used as a template for something a little stronger. Need to get the rig ready for hunting season before time slips away from me.

Back to work tonight. This will be my first full week of work since 17 June.

You know that towpath along the river goes all the way up to Easton.
Sounds like a good day trip; or maby not! :deadhorse:
I'm sure at this stage of the game, it's just better to :turtleride: along! :p

'morning everyone. Rain and wind last night knocked out the power -- again. I came home to a dark neighborhood. Sighed, hooked up the generator -- again, went back in and watched the TdF finish. Kittel is kicking some serious butt out there, and Sagan looks like a shoo-in for green. He reminds me a lot of Sean Kelly. Today should be a real spectacle, especially if it rains. Cobblestones + wet weather = mayhem in the peloton!

So another day begins. Power is back. I need [IMG] actually make that [IMG][IMG]. Then it's another day of work until you[IMG], followed by another stage of the Tour and a cold [IMG]!

:pccoffee::wave: .Bob joins a very exclusive nudist colony. On his first day,
he takes off his clothes and starts wandering around.
A gorgeous, petite, buxomy blonde walks by him and the
man immediately gets an erection. The woman notices
his erection, comes over to him grinning sweetly and says:
"Sir, did you call for me?"
Bob replies "No, what do you mean?"
She says: "You must be new here; let me explain. It's a rule
here that if I give you an erection, it implies you called for me."
Smiling, she then leads him to the side of a pool, lays down
on a towel, eagerly pulls him to her and happily lets him have
    his way with her.
Bob continues exploring the facilities. He enters a sauna, sits
down, and farts. Within a few moments a huge, horribly corpulent,
hairy man with a firm erection lumbers out of the steam towards him.
The Huge Man says: "Sir, did you call for me?"
Bob replies "No, what do you mean?"
The huge man says, "You must be new here, it is a rule that when
you fart, it implies you called for me." The huge man then easily
spins Bob around, bends him over the bench and sodomizes him.
Bob rushes back to the colony office. He is greeted by the smiling
naked receptionist: "May I help you?"
Bob says: "Here is your card and key back. You can keep the $500
    joining fee."
"But sir, you've only been here a couple of hours; you only saw a
    small fraction of our facilities..."
Bob replies: "Listen lady, I am 58 years old, I get a hard-on about
once a month, but I fart 15 times a day. No thanks!"

    That's a good one!

A couple from the nudist colony used to come into the local rod and gun club. They often mentioned Big Al, and one day they brought him along.
WTH; the guy was only about 5' 6. ;)

    Afternoon all!
I just had my new bed mat delivered by the Fed Ex guy, but first I'm going to take the wife for a ride in the Tacoma and get a pizza for lunch, then, I'll mess with the mat.

stock vw bug's had a fill and drain plug with a17mm allen socket by the ring gear part of the case . what type of case dose it have from the aftermarket?
swapping the ring gear from one side to the other was common when we set them up for mid engine 40 hp formula vw classes or when they came out of a old van with reduction gears at the axle ends, other way we fliiped the ring gear was when we stuck a corvair in a vw, the corvair end ran reverse of the vw.

good joke about the nudist place, got one in the lake Stockholm section of jeeferson township near by me.

Nice tint and great looking Tacoma.

    Great pics Charlie.

Well off to the pool for me. I am looking at a 10 hour drive tomorrow from Vermont to Maryland. I think this trip has taken a small toll on the transmission of the Bonneville. Some of the hills have been very steep.

Filling it isn't the issue. You can use the drain plug. It's the level. They sealed the plugs so they need to provide a dipstick or dribble hole.

I would love to see that trans mike. every old air cooled vw bug I worked on for 45 years had a fill and drain plug.

did the dirty today, 3 men 8 hours, my vette is now a super sleeper. in place of the old 327 is the warmed up 502 with a 5 speed behind it. yeha!! feel like the old joke.
man with hole in pocket, feel cocky all day. 67 and hitting the strip again
