Hi Ken... doing good. You? Sitting here listening to the rain Hope it holds up until bed time... love to fall asleep to the sound of rain...

 

Was raining here earlier but it is clearing up for now. More rain tomorrow but a clear weekend ahead.. Other than that, still helping my son 3,4,sometimes 5 days a week when needed or if I get a call to drive for the dealership...no responsibility......not much money either, but it gives me enough for a senior fish sandwich at McDonalds

You're going to have to keep that rifle a little more accessible. It sounds like you have a nice population nearby. At $50-$70 a pelt, you may be in business.

 

The one I got didn't have a nice pelt on it at all, they were talking about putting a $25 bounty on them.
I do think there are quite a few of them in the immediate area, plenty of woodland and a big stone ridge with a large hollow running down the middle of it.

But I'm glad to read it's not just me. I did so much traveling on active duty, that now in my second civilian Air Force career, I duck the TDYs (business trips) and point to the younger guys/gals. Done pretty good so far, 1 trip in 5 years ... and that one just happened to be two weeks to where my Chief (life mentor and friend) lives. I didn't duck too low at that one. Spent more nights in Chief's guest room at his house than I did in the hotel.

Well, I installed my Pop N Lock today, but it would only Pop, in wouldn't Lock, a broken part. So, I uninstalled and got it packed up to ship back to AutoAnything. They were real nice about it and will send me another one as soon as FedEx scans mine. Such is the life of a retiree.

Do yourself a favor and grease all the linkage pivot points as long as you have the tailgate cover off. Makes for an easier operating handle.

My Pop and Lock has worked very well. No complaints. It just keeps an honest person honest.
