Somebody asked YOU that? They obviously haven't checked in with you since you retired and simply have no clue. That is funny.

Nothing major or fancy. Just stuff to make it work better for me. Running boards, seat covers, BakFlip
Good morning everybody. I got back late last night and with any luck I'll stay home for awhile. The fires are still going but they're getting a good handle on them and a lot of the part time help (read as semi retired old farts) can step down for the time being.

Now I have a ton of laundry to do. Everything I own is black and sooty and smells like smoke. Sure felt good to take a long shower and sleep in my own bed last night.

 Mornin' Charlie ... Don't get your BP up chomping at that bit to go home. ;) Hope you're home now, probably so.

All the fixin' and wrong peoples money is going in on the wrong side of this bear problem. But I've probably said too much about that already ... I just find it sad and ignorant on the part your fish and game officials. Hell, up here they open special permit hunts for bears, wolves, and even moose (in heavy traffic/high hit traffic corridors) to keep wildlife populations under control and decrease human/wildlife incidents. Feel sorry for you and you neighbors, seems like you've been dealing with that all Summer repeatedly. :frusty:

    Afternoon all:
Almost sounds like when we came back from hunting camp in Maine. :D
Glad to hear you're back home, safe and sound!

Come on Jim; maby you could have negotiated.
$25 an hr. pay raise, two 1 hr. breaks, and a 2 hr. nap!
Come to think of it, even that wouldn't get me to go back to work. I likes this retirement! :p

Good afternoon. Just a quick fly by today. Seems like I have been really busy with everything the past few weeks. I need to install a new door knob assembly on the door from the laundry room to the garage this afternoon.

Just ordered a Senco brad nailer for projects around the home. Should be here on Thursday.

I can relate to that. In 2012 they removed my lower left lobe, on hot humid days you really have to suck in some air to function. The cooler the air the better, just like a turbo charged car, fall is coming and bringing cooler weather. Just take it easy until then.

Cannot seem to stop Susan. Stuff just keeps happening. Today son goes back to school so "Dad's Taxi" is up and running. Did a quick wash yesterday.

Good morning Ken. Any plans for today?

To early to tell Tom, Dealership calls around 9 a.m. if they don't call, I just might clean up the garage a bit. Have to do the dishes this morning and put out the trash and recyclables. Retirement is rough:D

You know Ken all vets are special but WWII vets are very special. This is something that is lost on our children's children and that is because the WWII era is so distant for them.

I have a lot to do myself today. Just need to keep on going forward. Time to get ready for the winter. Summer projects are over.

And what will probably happen is the family of that scum bag will get a payment from the US Government for his death.
