The pics look good to me. Love the turtle, have to remember to show that to the grand kids later, I'm sure they'll get a kick out of them. :). And I could lose myself in that sunset pic, BEAUTIFUL.

Enjoy your one more week.

That hull cleaner is nasty stuff.
I told him I would be rechecking the head in a few hours.
All of a minute to double check.
    Off to fish.
As long as I catch something on the last day I don't care. :)

This will sound funny but I will probably get as much satisfaction from getting the yard chores done as I would from the bike ride. I'm weird like that. Glad to hear you had a good one!
    Sounds like a fun night!
Nice to have a reality break every now and then. Great pics too!
'Morning folks. Off to the yard for me. I might even wash the truck.

    Morning all:
Neat pics. Ken! Looks like a beautiful place for a vacation.

Last night we hit the river. At this time of the yr. it's more like testing the water, and hope to get a few, it gets better as the water gets colder.
BUT: The young guy I fish with got a bonus; he got a Musky around 44-45 inches. :woot: That's the 3rd. one that we hooked into while casting for walleyes, and it was released back into the river!

 great pics. Have any more of the turtles? Beautiful sunset.

Hope you get more than one

 I'll be in the yard shortly... no truck wash today, today is the pooches

 Hope you are managing to catch a few...

Truck is washed! :taco: This is the first vehicle I ever owned that required a stepladder to get to everything. I did the STi too, mostly because the wheels were black with brake dust; I really need to get those pads swapped out.

With two vehicles freshly washed, the next logical thing is... [IMG]

Well boat season is over for me.
Caught 5 small ones but at least I was catching.
Washed the hull when I got home. Easier than having the lake grass stick and dry.
Will vac and fog the motor next week.
It was a awesome day. Temp around 78. Very light wind.
Some guy at the ramp was super impressed on my launch and retrieval skills.

Will do the final mow with my d140 next week.
Then I will start to swap to blower mode. Want to take my time and FF the frame and blower. Hook everything and run it to look for issues.
After the leave are down I'll use the d120 I just fixed and do the yard and then recheck the head.
The garage needs to be rearranged. That is going to be fun....
One shear pin and my second backup walking blower is done enough to use.
Needs a new carb but runs good enough for now.
And need to give the two trees out front a haircut. Sounds like I'm going to be busy for a while.. :)

:yay: for catching fish and getting the winterizing started.

Back yard cut and both dogs bathed. They weren't happy, but they stood there until I said "ok" and they happily jumped out of the tub, leaving piles of hair behind

I can relate to that. I have a Golden and at certain times of the year, I can brush bags and bags of fur out of her. She's a fur manufacturing machine.

They aren't too bad now... couple of months ago when they were blowing their winter coat  Was brushing bags of fur every other day. Plus every time I petted them, the clouds of hair would go flying... That's ok... they're worth it

Your golden with the longer fur   can't imagine how much fur you had

    Evening all:
Glad to hear you got out fishing Mike. What's the old saying; even a bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work! It is more fun if you catch something though!!!

hi everyone! Looks like lots of changes here since I last checked in....and Jim got himself banned again. Hope he finds his way back.

It's been a wild ride of a summer - not sure where it went or if we even had one. The new semester is already a month old. On the good side, enrollment is up over 100 students - a great thing in the current market.

Lynn's father passed away in June - a tough loss but he was struggling and had no quality of life at that point. He lived a great life and was much loved - goals we should all achieve. Tough to see your parents age and pass on.

Lynn and I started helping a local hot air balloon business crew their flights. Fun to do and we get some great exercise assembling and disassembling the balloon for the flights. It's been a bad summer for flying though - rain, winds, fog have cancelled a lot of flights. Yesterday was fun - had a flight in the morning where they actually landed at our house and we took everyone back to our patio to enjoy champagne and donuts. Then last evening we had another - and I got to fly along as "ballast." A nice perk we get from time to time - Lynn got to fly a few weeks ago.

I'm sure I'm missing a lot. hope everyone is hanging in there. I'll try to get in to post more often but this job has been keeping me busy. have evening functions 6 of 7 days this week. Ugh.

100 students more; you must be doing something right!
Maby they will give you a raise! ;)

    Morning everybody.

Glad had a good day fishing Mike. I'm onto reconfiguring for Winter here as well. Seems like Summer goes by quicker every year. Can't complain though, we did well enough fishing and hunting that the freezer is pretty close to full of salmon and moose, with a little bit of halibut. No caribou this year, but the second moose made up for that. As Summers go here, we'll log this one in the win column. :)

Good to see you post 6.

Condolences for the loss of Lynn's Dad.

The balloon crewing sounds like a blast. I'd like to ride in one someday; need to add that to the list.

Glad the school is prospering under your leadership; no surprise to me, you impressed me as a great leader from the start. Hard being the head man when you're doing it right. I'm sure your people appreciate you.

Sounds like a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon to me Charlie.

When do you go in for the first surgery? I know you said, but I can't remember.

Sounds like your grandson has his head on straight.

So we won't know how you are 'til about the 10th, noted. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers for successful outcome.

Great looking dogs. Love Blue's eyes.

Beautiful looking dogs Charlie, like Sue said, a little fur, but they're worth it.

I'll be back from S. Carolina next week, I'll be sure to put you back on the prayer list. All will go well.
