OMG! All those negative things we were exposed to!
Oh! forgot. 15 walleyes tonight, and a bonus brown trout about 20"!
Yea; I know --- pics. I even bought another digital camera to take along fishing, but don't carry it most of the time.

Oh noes! The PC police will be here soon I guess. :p For me, 'child's brain trapped in an adult's body' is probably more correct. Glad you had some decent sleep for a change; that by itself can make a world of difference in recovery.

My amp was a Fender Super Reverb. Don't remember the wattage. It had 4 10" speakers. Sound was super clean but it didn't have the earbleed output levels of the Marshalls the rock groups favored in those days.

So the wife wants a Keurig coffee maker for Christmas. Started looking 2 days ago and decided to get a K75 machine. This is a lot tougher than expected. Seems Keurig is going to a newer system that reads imbedded ink, similar to what is on paper currency in the USA, so they can get royalties from other coffee makers that want to package the coffee in K Cups.

Amazon is the only place I could find the machine with a guaranteed delivery at $189.99.

    http://www.amazon.com/Keurig-K75-Si...TF8&qid=1415297789&sr=8-1&keywords=keurig+k75

Retailers such as Bed Bath & Beyond and Kohl's are not selling them on line but said to check the store for availability. Went over to Kohl's at noon and they had the machine for $95.99. They had two in stock, now there is only one. :D

    I am a happy boy!

Forgot to add that the price is good for today only.

Congratulations on a successful, frugal purchase!

My son and his wife gave us a Keurig last Christmas. We returned it for credit and got some other stuff for the house. I guess we're weird, but both my wife and I would rather brew a potful. First of all we grind our own beans; I know Keurig has a gizmo for that but it looks like a hassle to use. Second, we both like our coffee the same way (black) and with the same flavorings (none). We share a pot of coffee in the morning and that's it for the day. It's very rare that we just want one cuppa.

About the same here Dave but the wife wants one for Christmas so you know how that goes. I picked up a reusable basket as well since I like Kona Coffee for an afternoon pick me up. This Keurig is supposed to be able to heat water to 197° for brewing. We shall see. Coffee should be in excess of 195° when brewing to extract the full flavor of the ground bean.

Same here Mike. Take the son to work then go and have the summer wheels swapped out for the winter wheels. Hopefully this is completed by 09:30 to make a meeting at church to get ready for a Vestry retreat tomorrow.

I think I will need brakes but hopefully not rotors. With 72K on the clock I think I will probably need both.

I know, how did we ever make it this far? ;)

I'm lousy at taking pics too ... probably why I don't take many either.

 Hang in there Cap'n.

    :woot:

    :woot: :woot:

    Good deal Tom!

We've had our Keurig for I think 3 yrs now ... It's done very well by us. Our's looks very much like that one. I think that $95 is in the neighborhood of what my wife found it for on sale ... at Kohl's.

 Morning all. Busy shift Wed night/Thu morning so I didn't make it on here.

Hope all are well and have a great day. :)

Oh ... one more thing ... the title is "Cool Old Dudes!" :D

Welcome back Rob, hope you're rested up.

I hear you on the cold/damp Charlie, it gets into my bones. I think I may keep a fire burning all day today in the woodstove.
