60+ year old thread.

Since the weather predictions for the coming week call for rain, I decided to head back out on my range to better my score from yesterday. We can submit two record targets per month - highest score counts.

Today, I took out my favorite standard Soviet infantry rifle, Tatyana, a 1925 Tula Arsenal Mosin Nagant M91/30. And she didn't disappoint, recording a 91/100 and tying me with the high shooters on my team this month. And, had I not rushed one shot and pushed it into the 7 ring, I would have had the leading score. I could blame the cold weather....but, really, I just screwed up.





I hope everyone has all of their baking and shopping done for Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to you and yours Rob, enjoy the Carolans and ??(cookies)?? Be safe and enjoy the time off. Deb had to go into work for 1 hour then the day for me begins. Peeled 10 lbs. of potatoes last night, then we have to make pineapple soufflé, string bean casserole, brown sugar glazed baby carrots, corn & of course yams. My son cooks the ham and then it's time to eat. I'll try to get some pictures after it's all done.

Hard to find a pic I liked on line for the tile. The back splash is a beveled subway tile, 3"X6", in a celery color. Worked very well with the counter top and cabinet color. The beveled edging will add texture to a very visible wall.

Pic from manufactures website. This is not the celery color. The color on the website left a lot to be desired for the celery color.



The floor tile is Edilcuoghi Tile the series is Canyon and the color is Sage. This tile ties in the cabinets and the countertop. The tile offers texture and is not as busy the countertops.

 

Good luck picking colors and styles! That was the part of our kitchen remodel that makes me say, "well, we managed to not get divorced!"

We're making homemade pizzas with the oldest son, Robert and his family tonight. Then Christmas day Mitch and Meghen join us all after noon for moose roast and all the trimmings.

Between my wife and myself we usually come to a common ground on decisions like these. I am better with color combinations and the big view of what the final look will be. She knows what she likes. I just have to nudge her in the right direction to a combination I can live with.

 

I'm betting you've developed into quite the skilled "nudger." Hope that's a word and not a CoC violation.
