Thanks Mark. Sounds like you had a very reflective and quality family day.

Made it to Detroit without any problems. Traffic was light and no construction. Went out to dinner with the wife's family last night and had a great time.

My SIL's computer was running really slow so I took the time to fix the issues and completed the job this morning. Did a full system scan last night and removed 5 viruses. That was after running CCleaner to fix the registry and Malware bytes to remove malware. There were over 800 registry problems and over 100 issues with malware. The computer was hosed. This morning I ran the disc cleaner and defragged the disk. Removed CCleaner and Malware bytes and it is working as well as it can now.

Not bad for a 2008 computer with a single core processor running Win7 Pro with 3 GB memory. She needs to upgrade but in her defense all she does is surf the net and email.

Going to the Detroit zoo tonight and picking up some Moose Drool today.

 Good Morning Friends. Worked one of my 4 shifts for the holiday period last night. I lucked into a nice schedule, holidays lining up with normal off days; work 1 off 3, work 1 off 2, work 1 off 2, work 1 off 3.

x2 ... I hope an end comes to this frustration for her.

Better to rant her than there. ;)

I want to see that movie. Thank you for the positive review.

:woot: Happy B-day to the grandson. making it special in amongst the holidays.

Glad your trip up was easy.

:woot: for the zoo and Moose Drool.

Have a great day all! :)

Good morning Rob. Nice to read that other older persons tell it like it is when children run amuk in your home. My family knows it is my home and my rules. If you do not like them then do not come over.

Still testing out my SIL's computer by checking TW. ;)

LOL It was hosed and slower than dog poop. Spent a few hours last night cleaning up the registry and getting rid of malware. Then ran a complete virus scan last night while I slept. This morning cleaned up the hard drive and did a de frag after removing CCleaner and Malware bytes. Runs as fast as it can right now.

I should do a write up on my experiences with Verizon trying to activate a new tablet on Friday night and into Saturday morning. All I can say is Verizon customer service sucks. You had better know what you are doing because Verizon does not.

Good morning Rob, we're waiting for winter to arrive. It was 60* on Christmas and raining a lot but no major drops in temperature:D yet. Supposed to start dropping this week with a mix of rain and snow by the weekend. Other then that all is good. New Years Eve party at the community clubhouse again this year. If I drink too much I can always crawl home:thumbsup:.
Deb and I will start De-Christmas-izing the house this weekend and get it back to normal. How was your Holidays?

    Very nice, thank you. :)

Our oldest son, his wife, and our two grandkids are moving to Phoenix 1 January. He's transfering with his company to their processing center down there. Kristi and I won't de-Christmas 'til after they leave. They've been staying with us the last few months to save some money before the move. We're gonna miss them around here. I expect Alaska Airlines will be getting a regular cut of my pay checks in the future. ;) But it's not a bad place to go visit during Winter here. :)

Between now and 6 Jan, I only work Tuesday night and Friday night. Not sure what I'll do to stay out of trouble, but I'm sure Kristi will have some directions for me.
