Wow Mike! Those pictures are epic. Glad I'm not you. :p They actually did make double decker snowblowers years ago; I'm not aware of any recent ones though. The pic is a Gilson.

Paul, we have a kid in the neighborhood who's very industrious. He even bought a wood splitter and rents it - and himself out to folks like us who are happy for the help. Still, it's just one kid out of many.

Rob, :woot: for Bear's continued recovery!

Zach, :woot: for birthday and lower insurance!

I'm not a big fan of drywall work either. I hate the dust! I had a contractor in doing some work a couple of years ago and he had a sander that connected to a shop vac. Very clean! If I decide to take on any big drywall projects I will get one. Using water and a sponge just doesn't produce the same smooth result.

Forecast is for snow, followed by snow, followed by an ever so brief sunny moment, followed by more snow. Sigh. Where's Punxatawny Phil when you need him?

    Dave:
This last storm was a no show here in Bowie. My son was not happy that he could not make any extra cash. The last storm he made $70 on our cul-de-sac. When I talked to him concerning a rental fee for the snow blower he told me to forget that. LOL

He also weeds and rakes leaves. My next door neighbor has already hired him to do some work in his yard this spring. Boy has more cash in his pocket than I have. ;)

Good morning all. Have a great day.

Good morning Rob. Thought I was all stuffy in the nose due to the huge amount of dust in the laundry room. I have a mild cold. :(

Anything planned when you get off work?

Couple errands to run, Post Office, and quick grocery stop for a few items. Then try and sleep all in one stretch today; Mitch and Meghen coming over for dinner before I leave for work again. Short week, two more shifts, then my 3 day break.

Sounds like you're making progress; contractors start Monday?

Sorry about the cold. Don't push too hard today, you'll only make it worse.

Cool snowblower pic. Did that chain linkage cause problems?

And thanks, pretty sure he's gonna be fine. Just hope that eye's not gonna be prone to popping out now. For a little guy, he plays really rough, especially when Mitch brings Loki over. Loki is a 100 pound German Shepherd. Bear was 4 when Mitch got Loki, so they met when Loki was only slightly bigger than him ... good thing now, as Bear is about the size of a medium lunch for Loki these days. They have a great time together. :)

    Rob:
Yes the GC starts on Monday. The kitchen is almost cleaned out and I begin to paint the laundry room tomorrow. I will paint the powder room once the commode and sink are removed and after the tile is laid. I think I can prep the walls and ceiling before the tile is laid.

This week the GC is in Park City UT. His brother owns a home there. Must be nice. ;) He touched base with me last week to make sure we are all on the same page.

BTW Tom, that bug deflector didn't pan out ... took a closer look at pics; box was labelled for 2012-2015 Tacoma. Oh well.

Is the hood design different on the 12-15 Tacoma? I really do not keep up on that sort of stuff unless I have a need. :)

I think so, otherwise why would it be labeled that way? Might need to check that though. I know the grills were changed, assumed that resulted in a slight variance to the hoodline as well. Now I'm not so sure. Hmmm .... research time. ;)

Well off to get ready to take the son to school. On Thursdays he starts 1 hour late. Only going to bike and stretch at the gym today. Not the best idea to work out with a cold but I need to stretch. The gym has two stretching machines I use that helps my back and relieves the pressure on the spine.

Tom, hope that cold doesn't linger. My wife had something about 4 weeks ago and she still has difficulty pulling in a deep breath, for example when she's on the elliptical machine.

Heck if I know! I didn't own one and I'm just a rookie when it comes to snowblower lust. The folks at snowblowerforums.com will be able to tell you more than you ever wanted to know.

:D Reminds me of my last house. Neighbors had a big hairy black dog of some kind, friendliest beast you would ever want to meet. My cat and their dog would play chase. Cat would taunt and tempt dog, then try to run away; the dog would chase, catch him (frequently!), pick him up in his jaws, and drop him, as if to say "I win!" I never saw either one throw a claw the other's way. Best buds, those two.

Yeah, it's pretty funny ... Bear's whole head will look like he's got hair gel in his fur when they get done, but it's Loki slobber.

    Morning Paul.

Hope the weather cooperates for you to get in Monday; and that the knee isn't too painful between now and surgery.

Thanks for sharing all the car stuff. Makes me smile and feel good to read your comments about Charlie and how he did stuff; despite this extra moisture in the corners of my eyes. ;) Hang in there man. :)

Morning All:wave:. I don't know if I caught your cold Tom or if you caught mine:eek:. Just a bit under the weather. Got just a dusting last night so not to bad. More expected Sunday into Monday:rolleyes::confused:...
Read this article and thought the cops were out of line on this one. Kids just trying to earn a buck and they get hassled. Whats this country coming to.
    http://www.examiner.com/article/lower-merion-cops-stop-kids-from-shoveling-snow

I guess the days of kids doing small jobs to earn a buck are over:eek:.

TGIF to all still working. Have a good weekend.

Paul and Mike be careful with all that snow and if you get more be safe.
