hi ya Mike!!!! How's things in the northeast?

 

Getting cold again and another storm on its way for monday.

 

One of the bennies of living in Maine?

 

Yeup sure is. Kinda amazing our temps range up to 100 degrees during the year.

 

They do here as well. We just don't spend as much time below freezing as you do.

 

Another busy day around the home. I need to take a few pics tomorrow. The kitchen is cleared out and ready for the deinstall in Monday. The laundry room has the first coat of paint on the walls. Glad I primered the walls first. The second coat will make the color smooth and solid. The room had not been painted in about 11 years. The CFO is happy with the color.

The CFO also nixed $350 for a Corian countertop in the Laundry room. Said we were already over budget.

Doing now. 2 loads complete, 3rd in the dryer and 4th in the washer. 2 more loads after that. I will probably lose the laundry room on Tuesday for a week or so. I hope not.

Doing well. Trying to stay awake so I sleep tonight. Read about your fancy alarm panel over in the garage.

Made it up to 14°F in my backyard; son said it was 30°F at his house 10 miles west of us. Still no measureable snow in current forecast.

A darker shade of yellow. I believe the color name is Sundance. Looks good with the white ceiling and it will go with the new floor.

 

I loved my boys goldie. Such a sweetie. If i ever decide to get another dog i will be a goldie.

 

Golden Retrievers are a really good hunting dog as well. They can bring back two ducks with no problems, sometimes 3 ducks. My parents next door neighbor always used Golden Retrievers. He was a avid duck hunter.

 

Good to hear she's settling in and doing well.

Goldens do have lovely fur. Ollie was half golden, and she had soft, short hair and was super sweet. Still miss that girl.... neighbor has a pup that looks just like Ollie and was born the same year as Ollie. Blondie might not run like she used to, but she loves laying in the sun and comes over to the fence for petting. She has some super soft fur.

 

We would doggie sit and bring him anywhere.

The two dogs I had were both mutts from the pound.
Great dogs. Not ready for another. Way to busy and can't leave a dog alone for 10 hours at a shot.

 

To bad I can't stand cats. I'm very allergic so even going in someone's house for more than an hour is probably pushing it. I'm not as bad as I was but no way could I stay on a cat house.. MMMMMMMMM I could stay in a cat house. Just not a house with cats. Tee hehehehehe

 

Whats all this cat house talk in here?? Got me thinking about Hong Kong!!!
