    I agree on both counts!!

Introducing Mighty Mortgage Manor's Morning Sunshine - Sunny. We drove down to Suffolk, VA Friday (8.5 hours with the 95 traffic), picked her up Saturday morning and drove back home (7.5 hours). She travelled extremely well - only about 5 miles of howling. We had a bit of a scare - ended up taking her to the ER vet early Sunday morning with diarrhea and vomiting. Turned out to be stress and a few rabbit droppings that upset her stomach.

Last night we put her in her crate at 10:30 and she was waiting quietly for me to get her at 5AM - not a peep out of her all night. She is a joy and our 4 year old Lab, Duffy, is warming up to the idea of having a sister. They are already playing - Duffy just isn't sure what she thinks about having Sunny sleeping right next to her.

She is quite the cute one Mark. Seeing her makes me want to go out and get one, but the wife and I aren't home enough to take care of a pup responsibly. Maybe in the future. Love dogs and right now we don't have the time to take care of one. Glad she is okay and it was just a stress problem.
I'm surprised Susan hasn't been here yet:confused:. You know how she is with puppy pictures:).. Take care and enjoy your new family member.

Doing good thanks. The heat doesn't quite bother me as much as the cold. But I'm glad for A/C:thumbsup:. 60 * to 70* is a good temperature range for me. Try to stay cool for the next couple of days.

    Morning all:
    I'll take the cold!

Here's the tidbit of the day, must come under>what you don't know won't hurt you!
The FDA permits up to 5 whole insects per 100 grams of apple butter. :puke:(wonder if that includes worms)
    Anyone like apple butter? :D

Beautiful job on the stool. My shop is finally getting together again. I have been waiting for 2 years, and having withdrawals

Gotta love them health rules. Course you never know what you eat anyway and it is all natural for the most part. The insects ar probably less harmful than all the chemicals

 Mornin' Cool Old Dudes and Susan. Hope all are well today.

Did some salmon canning with another guy from work Sunday night, he works night shifts too. Between what he and I had left over in our freezers from last year, we put up 162 half-pint jars.
    Troof

My moose dogs have no rat or chemicals, but a moose hair or two wouldn't surprise me. ;)

I'd LOVE to keep my house @ 70*, but don't want the electric bill that goes along with it. So 78* it is :pout: Lots of cold fluids and a fan. When I 'm outside, the heat doesn't really bother me, unless it's 100* or over. Just don't like it :anonymous:

:puke: I know... just don't like seeing them

    :puke:

    o_O

That's a lot of fish

    Did I miss something?

Speaking of toads we have what I call 'teeny tiny tree toads' hopping around the yard again this year. Tree toads that are smaller than my little fingernail. I rescue them from the mower if I see them; sometimes I get on and off the mower a dozen times or more.

We also have a garden pond filled with tadpoles, for the first time! That should get really interesting in another few weeks. I know, I know, TTIWOP. I'll get some today.

On the job front, my employer is letting me go part time. I'm on track to start the week of July 19. To keep the HR goons happy we're telling them I'm working Tuesday, Wednesday, and half of Thursday, but just between my boss and I the real schedule will be 3 days one week and 2 days the next week. That will fit much better with my workaholic tendencies - when I'm at work I'm working, and when I'm not I'm not.
