Good luck in old fart land Dave.

    A :yay: for you also.

    Some different ammo for tomorrow.
Going to try a few different sections....

I hate swapping lures. I have 6 rods on deck and 3 in reserve in the lower section.

South Carolina, aren't greens and cornbread a basic staple there? I know my grandma fed them to me regular growing up in Virginia.

    Morning Susan.

I guess they are an acquired taste. The only way I'll eat them is with plenty of cornbread and butter.

    Tex,
In case you're like me, and don't always realize when you have a PM in your inbox on this new software, CHECK YOUR INBOX. I've started a conversation between us with some links and stuff for a potential Alaska visit. Anyone else reading this that would like in just say so and I'll add you.

Click this. It should take you to a conversation between you and I titled "Alaska Ideas." It basically looks just like a thread, but only you and I and whomever we invite can participate. My posts will be all that is in there right now. You can make posts/replies just like the open threads.

Don't feel stupid, the "private message" in this new software is way different, I'm still not sure I've got it right.

You have to look closely to see if it's a pm.
Almost the same look as the forum.
It gives you an alert but you have to click on the alert and any unread notices to read and understand if it's a pm.
Then check your inbox.... Way confusing

I got caught in a downpour. Real hard rain. I was #3 in line to get out. I just kept on fishing close to the ramp. It was pure entertainment watching people trying to hurry in the rain and screwing up. I was soaked anyway so why hurry. Rain cooled me off. First time in 20 years I was caught in the rain on my boat. It was fun. Severe storm watch till 11 tonight. Caught five in the heat.

Sounds like a good day. :) People watching, especially under circumstances like that, is always fun. ;)

Yea I never want to see damage or injury. Just panic mode. Just do it like you always do.
Two out of the three boats were not centered on the trailer and had to wet the boat again. They were nice enough to let everyone get out and go back in after. Its only a single launch with one tiny spot to beach. So everyone did the right thing.....

Was upstate this weekend and ended up taking the Grandkids to Knobles amusement park on Saturday. Old time park. No entrance fee:thumbsup:. You only use tickets for the rides you want to go on:D. Some entertainment venues as well as food stands. Had a good time:woot:. When we were leaving, I noticed the odometer on the Tacoma hit 59,000 miles and it's 8 years old. I need to drive it more. Hope everyone stayed cool today. It was a scorcher.20150718_184805_resized.jpg

Knobles! I've been past it but never visited. I actually got some work done outside yesterday, light duty though. I also fixed a bathtub drain. First day of my semi-retirement, and I spent it on honey-dos.
