I think I understand what you are saying. There is no light over the middle of the windshield. Everything is beamed to the road with no extra light over eye level per say. I noticed that the first night I drove mine. Flatter beam with less fill in. I think they are fine. I like them.

Going ok. All vehicles ready. Did the van today. Had to "on car" turn rotors to get rid if of a persistent shudder stopping. Boat put away. Did a major throw away of junk. Filled one side of the garage of crap and had it hauled away. I can walk downstairs again. More to do and rearrange. Going to trim the front hedges tomorrow. After that it's the final mow in a week or two and get the blower on the tractor. Service the two walk behinds and then I will have most of it done... Just takes longer and longer. Maybe age has something to do with it...

 

He will definitely react to Mom's diet. Kristi breast feed both boys 'til 2 yrs because dairy allergies. Oldest outgrew it, youngest still allergic to dairy and eggs to this day. Hope they figure it out.

Yep, I'm used to it now, only noticed it first Fall after I bought the truck. On backroads with no traffic to irritate, I use my fogs as "fill-in." What I don't understand is why it was such a noticeable change for Carl from his originals to the DTRL TSB replacements.

 

That's the thing. We have not changed a set of headlamps yet. So that's why I'm asking. So if it comes up I can say to bad so sad. Lol

Evening all: Finally saw a buck, only problem is that it was dark and it was standing alongside the road coming back from hunting. The good news is, it didn't run out in front of the truck!

What happened Mike is: I think they had the new lights adjusted way too low, I could hardly see any distance on low beam. I tried to adjust them myself and the low beams were much better, but the high beams were way too high. I backed off on the adjusters, and now they seem pretty good on both low and high beam.

I think I can say that summer is officially over!!! Had to scrape frost off the car windows this morning

 

Exciting weekend at my house. Blue Angels are in town and have been practicing their show, flying very low right over my house. Whenever I've seen them, I wonder how any third world country can have the balls to challenge the good ol' USA, those guys are just awesome!

Evening All.
This weekend I had a epiphany.
I realized I have 2 snap on kr555 tool boxes empty because we can't use our own boxes at the shop.
So this has been like this for like 9 years.
Fast forward to now. I have a 3 tier craftsman box full for the house. I have another small one for my woodworking stuff. If anything happens to me or I retire,my snap on boxes won't hold all the tools I have at work. So I went out and got a couple of cheap chests to put on the top of them. At least now I have the room. Now the chests are black. My roll cabs are red. So as a summer project I'm going to grind the rust off the bottom of the boxes and I'm going to repainted them. The suprise is, I have decided to paint the boxes with bed liner black. It will cover a lot of 40 year rust and scratches. If anything goes wrong, I just whip out the can and spray. So when I get these unpacked and the kids help me hoist then on top of the cabs I'll snap a pic.
I don't think anyone will have a set of bed liner roll cabs. Should have thought of this months ago but I was having fun..........
