Nice and it attaches to a wall. Might be time to rethink my storage. Mine is old and outdated but it works.

    Morning all:
Those organizers sure come in handy. I probably could use at least 4-5 of them!

:( Just heard that another guy that I knew did himself in about 2 wks. ago. I hate to dwell on this, but it just seems abnormal to have known that amount of people that chose to end their own life. I just thought of another one, and I am pretty sure there are a few more, total right now is at 15 + 2 others that tried but did survive. I'm not including others from the area that I didn't personally know, there are quite a few more that could be added to that figure if I were to do that.
Like I said, it just seems like a lot when you start to think about it.

The world is not a comfortable place. So many more things to rob you of your piece of mine. Someone or something always jumping on your back. Being stripped of your inner core. Your performance is never good enough. No peace to look forward to. The prospect of living longer and the world pushing you aside. Someone trying to take from you the things you earned all your life. Not suprised...... You just don't hear to much about it because it's not drama. Oh some guy took himself out. One less to worry about. ......

It sure does seem strange. I've seen some articles that say the rate among older white males is more than double the number overall. On the other side of the coin older folks have a greater sense of satisfaction and well-being than younger people. Go figure.

I'm a simple minded guy intentionally, because thinking too hard just frustrates me because I don't have the solution, or power to change it if I could come up with the how and why. Mike is right, the world is not a comfortable place, but it can be if you focus on those things you can control. Stay busy with the little things that make you happy, which I believe you already do Carl @boatswain. Don't think too long or hard on the other stuff. That's become my rule of life, some days I do better at it than others. ;)

    IMHO FWIW

Glad I was in the woods for about 10 seconds more this morning. Was driving home and saw the SUV in front of me rear end a car that was being flagged to stop by a crew doing some type of work along the road. Looked like he never saw the car that was either already stopped or well slowed down to come to a stop, and just plowed into it at speed.
I don't think anyone was hurt, but it looked like his vehicle was totaled.

Hope it's not from changing oil etc.!
Just kidding: Hope your back starts to feel better soon.
I thought I would be paying a price for busting brush and walking over lots of rocks while hunting, so far so good though. Lets see: stoney ridge, stone mountain, the boulder field, hell hollow, stoney creek, all appropriately named!
The whole darn area has rocks everywhere thanks to a glacier.

Actually had just glanced over at the woods, and when I turned my head back I saw it happening. There was plenty of space between me and the SUV, glad I don't tailgate if possible. Also deer cross in this area a lot and I try to keep some distance between me and the car in front just in case one runs out in front of them and they slam on the brakes, just like I did the other day when one ran out in front of me.

I guess I've been lucky. Some days after working in the yard, etc the back has said it wasn't happy, but NEVER had this happen and if I have my way, never will again. You be safe out there walking on rocks.

    for not tailgating

Carl, glad to hear you missed out on that hit. ;)

Fred, congrats on the surgery. I've heard several folks say what a great difference it makes. When I was a teenager cataracts were inoperable. Now they're no big deal.

Susan, hoping your back feels better sooner rather than later. My neighbor couldn't get out of bed for 2 days his was so bad. As my nurse wife keeps reminding me, back injuries are cumulative; the next one piles on top of the last one, etc. and so on. So be safe out there and mind your back!

I live in Rockland Township, right next to Longswamp. I call our little dell Rockswamp.

    Morning all:
Have to wait for the oil delivery today. Last time-$2.249, now-$1.799! :woot:
At 200 gal.>$90 in my pocket! I'LL TAKE IT, I need it more than big oil does! :)
Sure better than $3.649 a few years ago. :(

Was just told a guy up the street has a big buck on his trail cam. Very wide but the tines are short, sort of like a rake.
HUMMM, maybe should be hunting behind the house!

How about it! We switched oil companies this year because our longtime supplier simply didn't bring their prices down in line with the market. Our new provider lets us pay a flat monthly amount for 11 months, then we settle up the difference on the 12th month. Pretty nice deal, I hope. :) We opted to pay the going rate for each delivery and that's been working out well too. I actually don't feel bad turning up the thermostat for a change.

    Evening all:
How's the eye doing Fred? Hopefully all is good now.
Way too warm for the rut, 61 this morning. I did see a shooter buck and a doe though this morning, being on the ground is not ideal with a bow. Maybe time to lug the climbing tree stand into the area where I saw them, have a couple that I haven't used in awhile. Both those critters could have easily been taken during rifle season.

Hope Bob is OK, he hasn't posted in some time.
