Boy, that's some awesome snow drifts. My uncle in Minnesota talked about the ones they had on the road into town and the trench from the house to the barn, to get to the milk cows. A long driveway to get to the barn. Just a little rain where I live in Kalifornia, usual for a El Nino year, at least we had little snow to melt off with the rain, other wise would have had the creek flood a little.

    Morning all:
    No HOA for me!
I keep my place pretty neat, but if I want to put up a wood shed, have a couple animals, have a few things stored on the property, or let the grass grow, I'm good to go.

Darn Duane, that shelter looks pretty comfy!

    Evening all:
Found something neat today that was a fresh road kill, but not damaged.
I found a black squirrel on my way home and gave it to the young guy I fish with. He's a taxidermist and I figure he could mount it and sell it to someone. They aren't that common, but there is a colony of them in the area just over the hill from my place.

Just read some of the '16 tips and tricks. Got me worried, hope I can operate the truck when it arrives, I'm not a electronics kind of guy. At least I have a manual coming, save me some issues.

    Morning all:
Don't worry Duane, just concentrate on the important stuff like ON and OFF! :D
I still don't know how to use everything on my fishfinders, my GPS, my e-predator call, the computer, and a few other things. o_O
Then there's setting the digital clocks! :annoyed:

I keep buying Casio watches as I know how to work them. I remodeled my mobile home about a year ago, got new appliances, etc. I have to read the directions for the microwave and range on how to operate some functions, then there's the issue of when the power goes out, have to reset the clocks. AM, PM, AM, PM. I think I have that figurated out, just hit the button again.

Afternoon folks. Technology is a wonderful thing. Learning how to use it all is another problem:facepalm:. Every time you get one thing figured out, along comes something newer and throws a monkey wrench into the works:eek: (wonder how many young'uns on TW know what a monkey wrench is?) Still trying to figure out everything on windows 10:pccoffee::rant::pray::frusty::smash:.

    Have a good night all.

    OH BOY; that's not good!
If you're having problems, I'll surely have them if I make the switch! :( :der::help::help::help::help::help::help:.
Maybe Sue will make the switch first! Either will be :yay:or :angrygirl:, probably the later.
Was reading some computer threads about W10, where people installed it and then uninstalled it because they didn't like it.

I installed Win 10 on my garage computer and made a few mistakes. The second install on the upstairs computer resulted in an easier to use computer for the wife but there were more operational problems that needed to be fixed. Thank goodness for Google. Other people had the same problems before me. ;)

Put it on my laptop weekend before last - took about 2 hours and it seems to be working ok. Have not put it on the desk top yet....

Gonna have to put it on soon... in the near future there will be no more updates for any win 7 or 8

    Evening Sue!
Throwing me a curve Sue! I thought on the 22nd. you posted that pretty soon you would have to switch.
Looks like you had done it already on the laptop.
I don't want to switch, but because of the lack of updates down the road, I'll probably do it too. Looks like we're being forced into accepting it, kind of like blackmail! :(

Exactly. I like the win 7 pro I have. don't know the end date, but I'm sure it's not too long off. Might as well update while it's "free"

Susan: I was able to solve all the problems through simple Google searches.

I am still working on understanding how to back up my computer. Looks like you need to schedule a full back up using the Win 7 interface and you can also do an incremental document backup using the Win10 File History.

Haven't had any issues yet Tom :fingerscrossed: Time will tell. I just liked the other one and don't like being forced to switch o_O

Tomorrow I'm probably gonna wish I'd stayed in bed today... was out raking leaves and shoveling dirt into a now empty stump hole. don't hurt yet and hope I stay that way.

Hope everyone else had a good day!!!!

Ah yes...longing for the good old days of crank Telephones, and no internet!
Come to think of it, maybe the "Good Old Days" weren't ALL that good after all!
Still having to fight with the fact that the logging road into my land is still a slush festival. Supposed to have temps close to 60* today, but that stuff STILL won't melt!
