    Evening all:
    :spy: :bored:

Just thinking about the fish in the pond Dave. I was down by my pond a couple years ago and watched the cat pull a trout out that was close to shore that was about 12-13". I can't make out the track either, but wondering if it could possibly be a big tomcat or Bobcat after the fish, time to set up a trail cam and you'll see what's after them. Any stream nearby, maybe an otter.

Otter is a very real possibility although any soft dirt should show tail drag marks.

    remember, its a
koi pond, unless there is water real close to OP's domain, i wouldn't assume, (and i know what that means) it to be an otter, too much werk, little reward (no disrespect on the pond), and there would have been NO remains.

    Loving this weather!
All tires are checked and properly inflated, new tube in the Z turn tire, fixed the tailgate on the garden cart, new tires on the StarCraft trailer, correct spare on the StarCraft trailer, P series tire off the old spare rim, switched to summer tires on the Tacoma today, cut back brush and briars all along the edge of the yard, and sharpened the chainsaw.
Now: all I need to do is change oil and grease the Tacoma, change oil and grease the 99 Chevy truck, fix the brake master cyl. on the 66, charge a couple batteries, and start a couple boat motors to make sure the water pump is working. Might also change oil and filter on the Z turn!
Then---I can do some outside painting at leisure plus it will be mowing season, but it looks like I will have a lot of time to go fishing and turkey hunting, that is unless something major pops up and needs to be done.
BUT---Then there's still the bathroom!

I have to put my fence back up around the garden to keep deer out, then slowly start planting stuff, go scout firewood for my neighbor and I, tear down one deck and rebuild part of it. Redo my shelves in the garage for all my stoves and lanterns.

You got it. March 31 to be exact. Yippee! Still collecting stoves. A guy I know in Chico, CA is sending me two more stoves and I'm bidding on another 100 year old stove on the bay, ends Sunday.

I came in here to see what a 60+ year old thread looks like. I'm very disappointed to not find posts about saddle shoes, Chubby Checker, and one of the coolest cars every made, the 1951 Mercury. Geez, this thread is only about 5 years old. :annoyed:
