Mercs, coolest car. I knew a guy up at S. Lake Tahoe, CA, in his younger days, had at one time or another, three years in a row of the late 40's or there abouts. Later in life, one was his daily driver, always finding notes on the windshield, do you want to sell?

No difference at all. That's the best part!!!! I hit 60 last April - but the group here let me hang around while I grew up. Enjoy the group, enjoy life and work on that bucket list!! I'm knocking one of my list items off today.

On some other threads/topics, some folks sure get blasted. Guessing there is no moderator, with that, very surprised TW has survived. One backpacking forum I belonged to, but did not contribute much, folks blasted each other pretty good, it went down the tubes, losing most of the members or interest.

This place is definitely interesting. The Mods are pretty hard-hitting on some things and not on others. I tend to lurk much more than I post and stay away from the hot button topics.

 

I should just lurk too, leaving topics for sharper folks to discuss.

TW has lost many good folks due to some of the DB'ery that goes on at times.

 

Watching grass grow or paint dry are safe topics here, the weather is also good.

Evening all:
I always relate this thread to the morning coffee shop group! We talk about anything and everything, but never solve any problems. Hang around long enough, and you can actually learn something, might not relate to anything you need, but at least you will know it!
Seriously, there is a wealth of knowledge here, just need to tap into a subject that someone has had experience with and you will get a straight answer.
I also enjoy seeing pics. like Mike posted of the Merc., or other pics. that others have posted on here. The thread has lost some very knowledgeable and interesting people who I miss, but there are always other interesting and knowledgeable people that are joining us on the porch.

Good morning, everyone and happy Saturday!! Looks to be a nice Easter Weekend here in northeast PA - not as warm as it has been but no rain. I hit one of my Bucket List items yesterday - been talking about it for many years and finally decided to get off my ass before it's too late.

 

Very nice. Takes some gonads to do tats. I thought about it off and on all my life also.
