Found this solution for stopping bird strikes. It goes up as soon as I get the stuff and make it.

Welcome to the fray here. Everyone gets along, unlike other topic areas.
A year ago or more, I had a couple birds keep hitting one window for some reason, I tried chasing them off a couple times. After a couple hours they left.
Good, gentle rain the last couple days here in Kalifornia, but the gophers are active still, got one small sunflower. They've sprung my traps a few times, will keep after them. Caught three this year so far.

Annie has caught 4 or 5 moles so far this year and my yard is paying for it

I have not caught a mole yet this year, they can wander into one of my gopher traps. They can cause as much damage to things as gophers. I've actually caught one mole when it could not find its hole again, must of popped out somewhere and made its way into my garage. My late mild mannered Yellow Lab X, Pooch, caught one once, and quickly dispatched it. Must be a dog thing. Good!
Does Annie dig for the moles? I can see the yard now. :)

    Morning all:
Finally, looks like four days of no rain, nose and head are feeling much better and it's back to turkey hunting! Would like to get that darn turkey so I can get back to walleye fishing! :fingerscrossed:

Welcome Kevin, pull up a chair on the porch but watch out for the area with the loose board, the grumpy guy didn't fix it yet, he's been spending his time getting his boat ready and is out fishing! :D

Oh yeah. She digs. She'll sit and listen and then dig furiously and occasionally gets one.

Rule #1: New guy fills the cooler. We're not choosy but we do get thirsty.

Let me get the door for you.

Birds can be territorial and attack one another to protect their 'turf'. If they see their own reflection in a window they will attack it. My dad had a robin's nest in a tree next to a window, and the robin would attack his reflection constantly. Drove dad nuts!

Morning all. Warm enough last night that I did not fire up the woodstove until this AM. Slacking, waited for the inside temp to go from 65F to something higher so I could shower and go to town this afternoon. May hit the 80's late this week here in N Kalifornia. Radio guy said over the area the last few days, we received 1"-1.5" of rain. :)
Out in the garage yesterday playing with more of my old backpacking stoves and spotted a doe going around my fenced garden, so I snuck out the man door, around the garage and when she walked around the side, jumped out and hollered. She took off like a scalded cat. :) Even had a doe less than 10' from a window the other morning, munching on my yard. Rapped the window and she took off for 100' and looked back. I had to go outside to chase her further. Really need to get a good pellet gun.

A BB gun would work better and not lodge a pellet under the skin to get infected.

Maybe time to practice up with a slingshot!

No turkey :pout:, saw one run when I was walking in a path but didn't even hear a gobble anywhere.
