Happy belated MEMORIAL DAY. A special thanks to all who have served - past and present. And THANK YOU to all that have past on before us .

Thanks for posting the Taps video Sue.

I went through much of what you are going through now Kevin. The wife's Uncle, both parents(at the same time) had dementia and we had to help take care of them, the wife's sister was diagnosed with cancer shortly after my FIL passed on. A few months after my MIL passed on my SIL passed. We had to make all the arrangements for everyone, take care of their assets(took us over a year to clean out my MIL's house), and settle the Estate's. All this was over a period of 6 years. We felt it would never end but eventually life did go on, memories of the good times with your family members will be a part of everyday. Talking about it with friends or other family members helps get your feelings off your back for a bit. I wish you the best.

Well yes. My Boy Scout Troup let me down. I had two scouts going for their eagle rank that were supposed to build the garden. They both did not submit the plans in time so we started the build in April. We are a small aging parish so getting help is hard. Our buildings and grounds committee only has 1 good back and 3 good knees between all of us.

Welcome Russ and post up a few pics if you would. If you have a dog post up some pics and Susan will be your friend forever.
