 have to say good afternoon, since it is 12:00

This year is quite different from last year... Had snow on christmas last year and this year it's high 60's low 70's. While I really don't want snow, a little cooler would be nice

... ^^^ ... last Christmas & New Years --- snow, ice & cold temps here ...... this year will be almost 70F and sunny.

I can do without the snow & ice too ... but it would be nice to be a little colder.

PS ... Had to run the A/C last night and it still felt warm & sticky in the house ...

Morning all and Merry Christmas!! No snow here - but at least it's below freezing. It's been in the 40s and 50s this week and not at all like late December in NEPA.

I posted this in another section but thought you might enjoy seeing this. Daisy made a limited edition run of 1500 of their Red Ryder carbine action 200-range-model air rifle to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the movie "A Christmas Story."

    Here it is, in it's glory, Ralphie's dream. 961 0f 1500.

They even included 'the compass in the stock and that thing which tells time," features never included on the original Red Ryder.

    Now, where's that tin sign?

Hi Tom, let me know how TinTin is, it looks interesting. We saw Hugo on Saturday and it was slow in the beginning but got better...3 1/2 thumbs up in my book...

Hi SOS...I wouldn't mind snow on Christmas eve and wake up to a nice White blanket of snow on Christmas morning and then have the temp. rise and melt it all away(just like in the movies)...

Nice find Mark...I did have a Daisy when I was a kid, but it wasn't a "Red Ryder"...always enjoy the movie especially the kid that get's his tongue stuck on the pole....Brings back memories(hey we all did stupid things when we were young!!!!)...Merry Christmas...Ken

Good morning, Zach! I hope the tongue healed up quickly! That had to hurt!!!

Ken, my holy Grail of BB guns was the Crosman M1 Carbine BB gun I had when I was a kid. They are hard to find now and command big bucks. Sure wish I still had mine!

Very un-Christmas/un-Chicagoland weather, incredible clear blue sky, bright sunshine, in the 20's heading to the 40 degree mark, and no snow in sight.

A wonderful Christmas to all --- Enjoy!

    Good morning everyone!

JoAnne and I both want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy HEALTHY New Year.....

This Christmas is the most special one for us because of JoAnne. Her clean bill of health from her doctor's is the best gift we could ever receive. With everything that has happened in the past month and a half, neither one of us did any shopping. So there is nothing under the tree, and that in a weird way is just fine. It really brings the true meaning of Christmas into our lives.

And I have to respond to the Red Ryder post.....
I still have mine that I got for Christmas 1958!
