Archery closed today, no deer! Archery bear opens Mon., maybe one will come in the yard , seems like they haven't been around for awhile now.

 

Deer all around. Season starts. Nada...
Same with turkeys.

Morning all:
Plenty of turkeys here, fall turkey season is open and I haven't seen any turkeys in awhile, but this morning there were 10 out in the yard. SUNDAY, and can't hunt on Sun., how do they know!!!!!

SF Bay area so all the hipsters were out hunting free range tofu.

Not that I have a legal suppressor and had been tempted a few times. House across the street was my insurance agent and not looking to file a claim if I missed. But 25 feet it seemed like an easy dinner. Got two 100 pound feral porkers the next weekend so Christmas dinner was good.

Plus I had a slight altercation a couple months before over raccoon I shot in the backyard after it killed a momma cat and all but one of her kittens, did not have time for the suppressor and a neighbor called in a 'shots fired' on me. Officer got sick after looking at the survivor's head all chomped open so he let it slide. Kitten is still going strong, not the smartest but is the sweetest.

Morning All . Hope Tom is alright and just having computer issues. Any luck with the hunting and fishing Carl? When fall comes Sue, I feel like a bear needing a long winter nap. Can't seem to get enough sleep. Have a good day all.

Started to do good on the Walleyes Ken, but the last time out during the "super moon" we went downhill! Missed a buck with the bow for the second year in a row , and still waiting for a bear to come out in the back yard!
Mentioned that also about when winter comes, feel like I want to hibernate!
