Kevin did you have a birthday?

Work has been aitch-eee-double-hockey-sticks for the past two weeks. Long nights, long weekends, veeps crawling around and mucking with things. Ugh. Has me reconsidering my retirement plans.

If anyone needs .45 cal ammo, Midway, USA is selling boxes of 230 grain Full Metal Jacket Sellier and Bellot for $12.99 a box - 1000 round case for $283 shipped. I've got 2000 rounds or order now for my Thompson M1A1 and will use the brass to reload.

Been snowing up here all day off and on...a few days ago it was 60. I hate this part of Spring!!

I truly hated when the higher ups that had no ideas about what was what got involved cause it took extra time to unf#*know things. That was a big factor in my retiring get 6 months earlier then I had planned. when the time is right Dave you'll know and remember when you do retire "everyday so a Saturday":)

I could use one. Crawled under truck after posting. sure is easy to get under it hard as hell to get up. Then jumped on mower and hauled mulch into beds before rain. And then test drove truck on hwy and got another base cabinet for kitchen.

I can remember those days. Now it's nap time in between each project and my motto now is " if it doesn't get done today? Maybe tomorrow."

Looking for a pup, heard about some free Black Lab pups, not sure how they would handle being in the sun when I backpack. Waiting for more info and puppy pics, owners are about two hours away, but would be cheap if only paying for gas to get one.
More snow today. Radio this AM said the resorts in the Lake Tahoe area which is about two hours south of me has received 650 inches of snow this year. So far!

Black Labs are good dogs. Many years ago we had one and during the summer days he spent lots of time napping in the shade. Great companions, just keep them hydrated when hiking and they should be good:thumbsup:. Good luck with getting one.

Have not heard back from the folks with the labs.
Ordered a new tent for camping, Springbar, expensive, little larger than I'd like, close to my ideal camp tent, but everything else is good. Many think highly of it. Next up would be a new backpacking tent if I get a dog.

No big deal, we can handle. My back yard was a lake for a short while.

I'll be coming up to Reno this weekend for business, not really looking forward to the cold weather, but like I said, can handle. Maybe I can win the big one and retire!

    Aloha.

Weather is supposed to be nice, Reno ought to be warm also. May see 60s even where I live NW of Reno.
