Morning Ken, back at cha! :hattip::)
Went to bend the aluminum for the downrigger pads, almost got there and it cracked at the bend. :annoyed: Must be a different type of aluminum than I used before to make them for the other boat, need to figure out a plan B!

    Evening all:
:woot: Plan B worked, took a piece of aluminum angle and used it for the leg instead of bending the plate. Worked perfect and is plenty strong, now I have the option of using downriggers. I may not have set it up for them, but I had an extra pair laying around and they do work for shad fishing.
Note to self: DO NOT BUY ANOTHER BOAT!

That's the problem, I don't get rid of them I keep accumulating them, I now have 3! o_O
Now we all know I need 3 boats, one for big water, one for trolling and general fishing, and one for running shallow rivers!
Come to think of it, I don't have a kayak or a canoe!

BTW: None of the boats are anything too fancy, all were bought used and as long as they float, look half decent, and do their intended purpose, I'm happy! :)

    Morning all!
I'm glad someone agrees that 3 boats is a good start! :D

Dave, I also have 3 vehicles!

Good to hear from you Bob, how's retirement going?

:woot: Just got a email from my local cable co., as of May 1 my internet speed is supposed to double and for free! It's plenty fast now and am happy with it, wonder if I will notice the difference. :notsure: Ever since I got the computer my monthly bill has stayed the same, miracles do happen!

Was reading on the new Dodge Demon, that thing is crazy! It will do the 1/4mi in the 9's @ 140mph and is the only factory car that will do a wheelstand.
Also, looks like they are coming out with a jeep SUV with over 700hp.
Sure hope I don't go into my second childhood, I would have to build another garage!

 Morning Carl. Always good to get something from the cable company for free, but it makes me look up all the time waiting for the hammer to drop:eek:. Just bought a TIVO bolt and it uses a cable card. The card rental is $4.99 a month compared to the HD set top box rental of $12. a month. If I can get as much use out of this one that I have out of my older one(16 years old) it will pay for itself.

I dream about owning a car like that, but in reality where could I open it up other than the track:rolleyes:. I would get in all kinds of trouble. But on the other hand, a jeep SUV with over 700hp might be something I could get used to:thumbsup::facepalm:.

    Getting ready for fishing??

    Have a good one Carl.

    Morning Ken
My provider is the cable company, computer bill doesn't go up but the cable fee for the TV goes up every year. We do get a discount on the computer bill if we subscribe to basic+ or better on the TV, so I guess they get their money one way or the other.
Been getting ready for fishing! Everything I fish for will be coming in in the next 2-3 weeks starting Sat. with trout, shad are in the river, and walleyes open on May 6th, turkey opens on Apr 29 also---CRUNCH TIME!!!!! :)

Most people would kill for the twin to your '66 Impala SS 427 C.I. 425 H.P. Chevy. In its day, it was the equivalent of the Hellcat Demon. Of course you and I remember when a Demon/Duster was a 340 C.I. Mopar small block.
