It has a strong sack? That’s why it makes less useful power and less torque than a baby little pansy girly weak four cylinder for weak losers?

You live in Southern Cal don’t you?

You sound like a DICK though, so I won’t invite you for a ride.

Yes, STRONG SACK is what you indeed read dumbass.

Now too bad Toyota Japan didn’t decide on a single turbo 3.5 for the 4th Gen.

I would have been all over it.

So….What if I told you Toyota made bigger 6 cylinders than the 3.5 or 4L? How hard would you simp for those?

Just imagine the sack size dude. You could have a much bigger sack.

So fun to see the 3rd gen guys become unhinged in the 4th gen section. No one’s forcing you guys to buy the truck, chill.

It’s also equally fun to watch the guys that don’t even own a 4th gen yet become unhinged whenever anyone says anything negative about them. :D

As mentioned in the early Sheldon videos, the b pillar is further back in the 4g to improve ingress to the front seats. Can’t compare them by eye like that

Well we gotta defend the money we are about to sling :quickdraw:

I do think it’s interesting that no one mentions the boxed frame and linked rear when talking about the price of this truck, or the beefed up front end components. I’m a landcruisers fan boy and This is the closest thing we can get to a landcruisers truck, all be it the prado version it’s Still a giant win in my eyes. And worth the price. That being said I will cry a little next week when almost 60k vanishes.

I can’t wait to compare to my 200series.

It's often mentioned and ignored. But oh well. Can't wait for more of these to get on the road and in this forum.

Is there really any benefit to any of those upgrades? I have over 180K miles on my non boxed frame and it hasn’t failed yet. Same with the front end. Anyone else have any issues? We aren’t gaining any payload or towing so what’s the point of the new frame? I’m not convinced that the rear coil suspension is going to make much difference either. I have a Tacoma and 4Runner and the ride is pretty similar with each of them. I don’t see how it’s a LandCruiser truck other than being priced closer to one.

It shares a ton of stuff with the new LC. That’s how it’s close to a landcruisers truck.

And as far as fully boxed and linked, there is a huge difference off road. My Tacoma has 215k on it, and it works. But the ride is shit compared to my dinosaur 80 series, on and especially off road.

Scrubbed some tires, and knocked a dent out.
    Exactly.

I wouldnt say its worth it but, thats how the market works. Shits crazy high but they keep getting buyers.

Gonna be a lot of repossessed vehicles in the next crash.

Couldn’t you also say the new LandCruiser is close to the Tacoma?

100% honesty, as someone who lives in the rust belt, this has me majorly concerned. Every generation comes out with much fanfare about finally figuring out how to make a frame that won't rot.

Then it is followed by a TSB.

I like the idea of it, the execution remains to be seen and won't bear out for quite some time. Hopefully.

Rear coils are top 2 favorite features on the new truck for me.

Nowhere close to 60k in value to me though.
